Needed a bed for one night. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the walls were thin, was a little noisy between other rooms and being close to the elevator. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The upgrades that have been made in the rooms are significant. Rooms are friendly and clean. I am told that they are also working on upgrading the lobby area next.

Renovation still going on in the lobby but the rest of the property was beautiful. Laminate flooring in the rooms is fabulous. So easy to keep clean. Lots of well placed outlets. Both men I encountered at the desk were pleasant and helpful. Location great for visiting New River Gorge NP.

The room was nice and clean. The pool area needs renovation it’s run down. The current renovation was pretty messy in the hall to the pool area. We enjoyed our stay and it’s close to everything. I would recommend it.

No hot water, warm at best. Bathroom was dirty, hairballs on the floor and visible dirt, shower head had black growth on it. Trash left in bathroom and by coffee pot. Noisy a/c unit. No usable laundry or fitness room. Pool room looks run down pealing paint on ceiling. Other than that the room looks ok and the beds were very comfortable. Decent breakfast.

The room was pretty clean. The bed should be in the opposite side of the room. Provide towel for the extra sink. Bed was comfortable, ac worked. No reception on the tv. The bathroom was clean, exhaust fan did not work and the drain in the bathroom was very slow. Breakfast was lacking. Ran out of pancake batter. The hot water from the water cooler was not hot enough to make the oatmeal. No other hot food. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Renovations are in progress, and they were sorely needed. I like that there is a refrigerator in the rooms, but unfortunately my froze the contents. There are no hair dryers, so bring your own. What is really needed is a shelf so that a lady does not have to put her cosmetics on the toilet back. The vanity space is lacking. I could not get a cup of coffee in my room on my second stay because the pod holder for the coffee was missing. Lastly, the brown bananas for breakfast were not appealing. Overall, it’s a convenient location, and the day clerk is pleasant, capable, and professional. Hopefully everything will be improved once the renovations are completed

Hotel was extremely busy, but even so it was very quiet and check in was really fast. Staff were very friendly & helpful. The a/c in one of our two rooms didn’t work so it was stuffy & humid for sleeping. Beds were pretty comfortable. Overall, it was a good night’s rest.
