"Lovely hotel, all the staff we interacted with were very friendly, cheerful and helpful staff during our stay. Metro close by, quite of a few bars, cafes and places to eat. Only thing to note was there isn't a great deal of parking spaces at the back of the hotel but there is one close by if needed."

"Hotel rooms at the back of a large traditional local stone public house. Very good standard of room. Easy to park car park of a good size. Bus stops directly outside the hotel. 15mins walk to town centre. Check-in though was too slow, using staff that were occupied at the bar. Staff very friendly when eventually the lady arrived. Check-out also suffered by using staff from the pub area, although early in the morning the wait was not long."

"Enjoyed the spacious room, we stayed in room 717. This is our 2nd time in the hotel. Love how close the hotel is to the train station. Only thing i noticed is that both occasions, only 1 lift was working out of the 2. Lifts are tiny, it says it fits 10 people but I doubt it. Breakfast included but can do with lots of improvement, no fried eggs. No cutlery or plates laid out on the table. Slow clearing of tables. "The apartment was great, conveniently located for Newcastle City Center (within a short walk, or short hop on the Metro), Jesmond Metro station and restaurants and cafes in the local area. Check in via the adjacent Holiday Inn was quick and efficient and access to parking (free with the apartment!) was easy. One minor gripe - when we set the sofa bed up, the mattress was dirty, covered in dust and food crumbs from the previous stay. Otherwise the apartment is comfortable and in a good...

Although Hotels.com website says there is air con there is actually no air conditioning in the executive double only in more expensive rooms. I checked hotel website and no there isn't so needs to be changed on Hotels.com website."
