"The staff were so helpful and nice. Maddy, who checked us in, insisted upon carrying our suitcases up the stairs to our room (no elevators). She also explained all the amenities of the hotel and was incredibly competent and friendly. She and another staff member, Luca, were in charge of driving the shuttle van which took us from the hotel to downtown Bellaggio. Now for the real reason you want to stay here, the view from the hotel’s patio and restaurant are to die for! Our room also had a fabulous balcony with amazing views. The hotel’s on premises restaurant is pretty good but has a limited dining menu. The only downside to staying here is that it’s a bit of a hassle to get to downtown as you must make arrangements in advance to get the shuttle which only runs once an hour and has a maximum capacity of 6. We were traveling with my brother and his wife so there were 4 of us. The only other thing I’ll add is that this is an older property and as such, it could benefit from some upgrades especially in the rooms. The use of space could use some improvements. All that being said, we very much enjoyed our stay at Il Perlo."
