The restaurant was nice and most of the staff in the hotel were nice. Beware that if you play in the casino and exchange dollars for pesos, they will only exchange from pesos to USD the amount that you exchanged to play. The other winnings will be given to you in pesos. The room service dining took 2 hours to be delivered to the room. And upon delivery the fries were cold. "

"I had an excellent stay at the Embassy Suites in Santo Domingo. What really stood out the most was the staff. Every interaction felt genuine - everyone was incredibly helpful, attentive, and seemed almost intuitive about what guests might need before you even had to ask. That level of service makes a big difference when traveling, and they consistently delivered it. The pool area is another highlight of the property. It’s beautiful during the day if you want to relax and get some sun, but it’s especially nice at night when the lighting and atmosphere make it feel like a great place to unwind after a long day. Breakfast was also excellent. There were plenty of options, so it’s easy to find something for everyone, and the made-to-order omelette station was particularly good. It’s a great way to start the day. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and the shower was fantastic - large, clean, and exactly what you want after a long day out in the city. Overall, this is a great place to stay in Santo Domingo, with standout service, comfortable rooms, and amenities that make the stay feel relaxing and easy."
