A True Home (Not a Sterile Rental): This is my parents’ custom-built dream home, where they live half the year. When you stay here, you’re truly a guest in a loved and well-cared-for home—not a stripped-down vacation rental.
You’ll find: • A kitchen ready for gourmet meals • Puzzles, games, and cornhole (a guest favorite!) • A huge dining table (8 chairs) plus bar seating for 4 • 5 couches, 3 smart TVs, and plenty of space to spread out • A grand piano (play it yourself—or let it play you!)
There’s a turnaround driveway for trailers and ample paved parking for multiple vehicles.
Sleeping Arrangements: • Primary Suite (Upstairs): King bed, private balcony, spa-style bathroom with garden tub • Bedroom 1 (Downstairs): King bed • Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): Queen bed • Loft Murphy Bed (Upstairs): Queen bed (Loft includes multiple couches, smart TV, wet bar with sink & fridge, balcony, and nearby bathroom. Note: this is a loft space, not an enclosed bedroom.)
Hardwood floors add warmth, tiled entryways and bathrooms elevate the space, and carpeted bedrooms and stairs provide a cozy, quiet retreat.
Nature Included: Deer sightings and coyote songs are part of the experience. Please don’t feed the deer—they tend to leave unwanted souvenirs on the deck.
Evenings Under the Stars: Enjoy the fire pit, stocked with enough firewood for two evenings, plus a welcome basket with s’mores waiting for you and your crew.

Brought the groomsmen for my friends bachelor party here for two nights. The place was amazing, and the views and landscape were great.
The sleeping arrangements were great, shower pressure and warmth amazing, and a diverse kitchen for any need.
Family Christmas together in the perfect house. Close enough to Bend for shopping and Sisters for supplies. Was nice to be on a large piece of property where it was so peaceful outside.
This place is fabulous!! The view of the mountains from the deck is stellar. House is wonderfully appointed with everything needed for preparing a meal. All other amenities are upscale and plentiful. The extra large dining table is perfect. The host has excellent communication skills. Overall a spectacular trip
We all had a wonderful time and were happy to find a place to accommodate our group. The house was well equipped with everything needed. Just bring food. I really liked the nice quiet country location.
Two families with Grandma's in tow had a great time here. Every extra was there and awesome (i.e. tinfoil, baggies, extra towels, blankets) Open layout plan was great for everyone to be together with loft area upstairs for the kids to escape to.
Even though we could not see the killer mountain views due to weather, our team was able to create many memories over the three days at the house. The home has everything needed to feel comfortable on the road. Our host/owner took time out of her day to connect with us daily providing informaiton about the house, area, etc. Beautiful home and look forward to 2025 winter tournament as we hope to stay again!
Our church hosted a staff retreat here, and the home was beautiful, comfortable, homey and clean. It is a terrific value for the price! Also, Becky, the host, was wonderful - she was responsive and very accommodating.
Our only complaint was that the listing and the pictures give the appearance of 4 bedrooms, which was why we selected this home as we had 4 couples staying there. It was disappointing to arrive and realize that the murphy bed (which is a queen) was in the common area and not in it's own room. We'd recommend a more accurate description and maybe some privacy screens.
Otherwise we'd HIGHLY recommend this home for your next getaway!
We had a great stay over the week of Christmas. The house was perfect for our family. The large kitchen was fully equipped, the dining table accommodated our big group and the living room was very comfortable to hang out in. Becky was super responsive and easy to work with.Would definitely stay here again.
Wow! House is beautiful! Owners are great to work with! Couldn’t ask for a better stay! Wish I could give higher than 5 stars. Will def be renting again!
Wonderful house where we really enjoyed our stay. Spacious but cozy home with beautiful wood throughout and the kitchen is amazing with everything you need. Would for sure rent this home again for another trip to go boarding at Hoodoo.
This is a lovely home, and it fit our needs perfectly! Our stay was a little bit of a mixed bag, but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
The main thing to note is that this someone’s "lived-in" home. It is a home that was furnished for the comfort and appeal of the owners, and it is not a sparce, bland neutral-toned house devoid of character. We found it refreshing. That being said, there may be times where if feels like you’re intruding on someone’s personal space, but it didn’t bother us.
On the negative side, the pet fee of $25 per dog was not adequately disclosed on the listing. There was a mention of a pet fee in the “About this property” section, but when VRBO states, “Total includes fees, not tax”, one assumes that the total includes all fees. This has been changed and the listing now says $25 per night per dog, but I believe that is still in addition to the total that VRBO states.
Additionally, we had no hot water in the upstairs bathroom showers, so we all shared the downstairs shower. (Interestingly there was hot water in the sinks though.)
Lastly, we were unable to find a corkscrew – but while searching, we found no less than 5 barbeque lighters. This is not meant as a complaint, but rather an idiosyncratic indicator of the charm of the home!
Becky was a great host and her communication was concise without being overly/annoyingly frequent… Just the right amount of communication. Overall, we had a very nice stay and would absolutely stay again.
