This adorable downtown pet free Bend, Oregon vacation rental with a fenced back yard and located in the heart of downtown Bend and just short steps to the Deschutes River at Williamson Park, Oregon on NW McCann Avenue with a short stroll to Millers Landing, a peaceful park located along the Deschutes River.  Reminisce about the early days of Bend, Oregon, walk around the corner and enjoy refreshment at the new Active Culture Natural Foods Cafe, which has vegan, gluten free and vegatarian menu.  Sorry, no pets.

Stretch out in comfort and luxury with 1,140 sq. ft. with two bedrooms and 1 full bathroom which sleeps four comfortably with two queen suites and a third smaller room with a full sized crib as well as a washer and dryer.  Also, a small utility room for storage, as well as a locked storage shed for your skis, snowboards and bikes.

From the moment you pull up to the Best L'il Oar House in Old Bend, the charm and warmth of this home invites you to come inside.  For quiet evening chats, enjoy the private, quaint brick patio with two chairs or the seating for three on the small wood deck covered entryway.

Beautiful exposed wood beams and knotty pine tongue and groove wood inlay ceilings and walls throughout the home exudes warmth right down to the new gas fireplace in the living room (added February, 2022) with a log cabin finish and contemporary, modern decor with just a touch of whimsical shabby chic throughout the vacation home.

The sunny fully equipped kitchen (remodeled in April, 2025) has new countertops and a breakfast bar for two.  Whip up delicious meals with your friends and family in the fully equipped kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances, a four burner gas stove and oven, side by side refrigerator with water and ice, microwave and dishwasher.  Just off the kitchen to the right is the third smaller room with the full sized crib, washer and dryer, plenty of cabinetry and countertop space.

Relax in the living room with a brand new gas fireplace (Added February, 2022) two sofas, an easy chair and large LCD TV with cable. Seated dining for four is situated between the living room and kitchen with a small storage area just off of the living room for ski and snowboarding gear, the high chair and small selection of children's toys.

The sunny queen primary suite has simple steps down to give you a cozy feeling with knotty pine wood tongue and groove wood ceiling and ceiling fan.  Enjoy cuddling up and watching your favorite show in the evenings on the large LCD TV with DVD player.  The cheery queen guest suite has knotty pine tongue and groove wood inlay ceilings and walls as well. The full bathroom is situated between the two comfortable suites for easy access for all.

Beautifully manicured and mature landscaping with brick pathways line the fenced, grassy backyard makes a perfect area to relax and enjoy!  Enjoy the outdoor seated dining for four under the covered gazebo and barbecue grill (propane provided).  Two bicycles with locks are available for use to cruise long the the Deschutes River, Millers Landing and throughout the quaint Old Bend downtown neighborhood.

Reviews boast of home being sparkling clean, great location and beautifully appointed with thoughtful touches throughout!  Complimentary locally roasted coffee provided upon arrival.

Easy and quick access to all that downtown Bend, Oregon has to offer; quaint coffee shops, breweries and boutique downtown shopping and Old Mill Shopping Center, Hayden Homes Amphitheater for summer concerts, and Drake Park for community events and celebrations, all within walking distance or a quick pedal on the cruiser bikes.  Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort is about 25 minutes up Century Drive for sunshine spring skiing or snowboarding and plentiful powder days.
