"Our stay at Pamlico River Retreat was wonderful. The cottage was cozy and comfortable. We loved the location because it’s close to everything. We appreciated the snacks, toiletries and beverages that were provided. The highlight was the rear outdoor covered patio. The furniture and decorations made the space feel very welcoming. Phyllis was an excellent host making sure our needs were met and provided snacks and a push bike for our toddler. We will definitely be back!"

"The place is awesome and just what you need it to relax and get away from it all. Secluded and private right on the water. All the amenities you’d need are provided. Work remote or relax, you can do both. The kitchen is spacious and nice to cook in. Rooms are also spacious. Several hang out spots to chill. Forget about the world while you’re there and wish you had a couple extra days to stay."

"This home met our needs above and beyond what we saw in the ad. There was enough room for 12 people including for the kids. Although it was in the pictures, there was a full basement with a full kitchen, enclosed back porch with sitting area and then there ’s more. The outside was quiet, and the views were out of this world. Beautiful and Relaxing. We will be back again."

"We stayed here to be close to the aurora fossil musuem. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels for our family of five."
