"This is a beautiful historic building. There was no staff on hand. Everything is via keyless entry and text. Our room was on the third floor. If you have issues with climbing stairs or carrying your bags up flights of stairs that could be a problem. Our bathroom was private to us, but it was across the hall which I did not know in advance. Because we get up in the night to use the facilities, that was a bit of an issue. There was a hot cooked breakfast, but it was not "bed and breakfast" quality fare. It was filling, however."

"My only complaint is the beds are very very very soft! I can’t sleep in a soft bed. There was a futon in my room so I Used that. If you like a bed of feathers, this place has your bed. Super convent to great eatery's and hwy 90."
CDA lake house with dock, firepits and water toys

"Location location location! We have been coming to this area for 50 years and it was the perfect location - halfway between Coeur d'Alene and Harrison. Great spot on a bay off the lake where wildlife abounds - wild turkey, deer, muskrats, geese, ducks. We even came face to face with a moose on the road to Harrison! The house was a perfect split plan and had everything you could possibly need. The gourmet kitchen was more than stocked with everything you could possibly desire (maybe purchase a cutting board, some chip clips and medium bowls) Great amenities - the firepit was wonderful and we enjoyed going down to the dock. It was bit nippy for the kayaks but hopefully will be back when the weather is more suitable. We enjoyed looking at the wildlife with the provided binoculars, enjoyed sitting out on the extremely oversized back porches. This is where we spent most of our time enjoying that pristine view. The house was extremely clean and ample space for everyone as the rooms were very large. We also enjoyed the little suite downstairs away from the rest of the house. We appreciated the upscale lake decor (no moose or bear motifs - thank you). The ambience is perfect for a lakeside setting. We could not have been more pleased and happy during our stay. We hope to be back one day and will definitely look to rent this place again - it was magical!"

"The house was very nice and gorgeous views of lake!! The hot tub and fire pit were bonuses. The location was perfect for our day trips and back and forth to Coeur d’Alene! Don’t miss Jimmys restaurant! The fried pecan roll French toast life changing! The host was super responsive and helpful. Would love to come back and bring family."
