Absolutely incredible hotel - everything was impeccable! We did have a slight problem with the shower in our room (it flooded) but as soon as we mentioned it they sorted it and offered as late checkout for the trouble which was much appreciated. Cannot recommend this place more highly - also the breakfast, my god the breakfast, just wonderful.

Hotel was amazing. Beautiful and the location was perfect. Walkable to everything. Breakfast and the staff at breakfast was so accommodating. We would definitely return if we come back to Berlin. Loved our spacious room.

Service staff not overly friendly or helpful. The shampoo and soap dispensers were full of water not shampoo or soap. Hotel has strange system for controlling the lights which takes some time to get to used to. Good location close to the train station.

This hotel looks very old but it’s not, giving it a lot of character. The staff was outstanding, each and every one. Our room was spacious and very clean. The location was awesome and pretty central, only steps to Museum Island and a tram stop. The property’s restaurant was also very good. We highly recommend!

The hotel has been sympathetically restored, the rooms are surprisingly quiet, the staff are friendly, helpful and professional, the food is great. A particular shout out to Meivita Lumarso, who made our anniversary stay supper special

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Telegraphenamt and would definitely stay here again when we return to Berlin. The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk from the nearest train station, in a quiet and safe neighborhood with plenty of charming small restaurants and cafés. Museum Island is also easily within walking distance. The hotel was smaller than I expected, but in a very good way. The public spaces are beautifully designed, with great attention to the building’s history as a former telecommunications office. The historic character is recreated in a sophisticated way without feeling artificial. Our room was modern and stylish, while the use of wood created a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The complimentary water was a nice touch, and the shampoo and conditioner were thoughtfully selected. Our only minor disappointment was that, although we were staying as a couple, only one toothbrush set was provided. Service was excellent. Check-in was smooth, and we particularly appreciated the early check-in. After checking out, we stopped at the bar for a beer and some sausage before heading to the airport. The bar staff were exceptionally friendly. We only had a light meal at the bar, but the main restaurant also looked very appealing, offering an interesting combination of traditional German and modern Japanese cuisine.

It is in an excellent location in walking distance to Museum Island and restaurants in Mitte . It is well maintained but I heard acoustics is an issue so I requested top floor room which was very quiet . Only issue is that the shower drain backed up and caused flood in the room . They fixed it next day but I was nervous nevertheless. But it is otherwise an excellent hotel
