"The owner of this hotel is clearly in the wrong job, arrogant, rude, condescending fulfilling the worst caricatures of hotel owners. This was clearly the French version of Basil Fawlty, who nearly pushed me to ask how many French commandos landed in 1944. An absolutely unwelcoming hotel to be avoided at all cost "

"Hotel is miles from Honfleur and on an industrial park. First room offered was on ground floor where window opened onto cars parked outside. So we asked to move. Next room had broken air con so once again we had to ask to move. Third room had broken door lock - we had to be given the key rather than card key. The toilet lid fell off whilst we were there. All three rooms looked basic and rather tired. One small shower towel per person provided. A picture on the walls would be a nice touch. Staff...

Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Breakfast was good. Budget price but got so much more. Fantastic hotel. Will definitely recommend this hotel "

"Right in the centre of town. Bars restaurants and shops right on the doorstep. The property is tired and dated, but the bed was comfortable and clean as was the bathroom."

"Late night pickup from train station after no cabs available. 10 Euro Late night pasta carbonara after restaurant closed. Excellent chef. Great wine selection Owner operated, very kind and accommodating. Stowed our bags after checkout to accommodate touring around town."

"Beautifully clean apart/hotel. Rooms in newly decorated condition and facilities spotless. Friendly staff who despite our poor efforts at speaking French made every effort not to make us feel awkward. Our only criticism, and it is a minor issue, is that there was no English type tea! Rooms all had fruit flavoured teas supplied but would have been nice to have had good old English Breakfast tea too! We bought our own locally in the end so didn’t go without!
