"The Tempo has reasonable rates and is a great place to stay in Louisville’s NuLu neighborhood. It is also within walking distance to Downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. There is a parking garage right behind the hotel, though it costs about $30/night. It is secure and convenient, so I think it is worth it, though a better rate would be appreciated. In a hotel you will always have noise from the heat pumps and ventilation, and if you are on the back side you might also have some noise from the garage. On the front side you might have street noise. But overall it was not overly noisy. Just mentioning it so a visitor can be advised and maybe ask in advance for one or the other. "

"I was surprised when I checked in after paying upfront for my room that I was required to pay to park in the parking lot of the hotel I had already paid for the room in. I was charged an additional $20 just to park overnight. The room was sufficient for my needs, close to downtown, although the shower had minimal water pressure."

"Where do I begin? The live bullets in the parking lot, the car windows being broken, the door lock on our room that didn’t work and then we were told there was no other rooms. Then we had a dog bark for 2.5 hours to which we couldn’t reach the front desk because you only get a busy signal. Corporate was called then got us connected to the front desk to which they said, the guest is at a concert and won’t be home for over an hour. Then the hotel proceeded to over charge me by over $500. Now I’ve been fighting to refund my money for two days."
