"Clean room, indoor pool and hot tub which means it is more likely to be open year round, can be noisy if your room window faces the pool, okay for dogs with a dog area behind the building on the pool side, better than average breakfast, nice coffee/decaf/tea station with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, friendly lobby and breakfast staff."

Not a new luxury hotel, but clean, quiet, comfortable, and close to and convenient to everything in Keystone, Custer State Park, the Badlands, Rapid City etc. at a very reasonable price. "Wonderful lodge for our family! Property staff were friendly and accommodating. Other guests were also kind and inviting. Environment was very family-friendly. Love the location, far enough out for forestry/nature vibes but not too far it took forever to travel to town. Nearby to many attractions too! Would definitely book again if taking a future trip! "

"Loved it. A couple of suggestions are:
1- the fire alarms have strobe lights that would have kept us awake had we not put dark tape over them.
2- The lighting is a harsh LED that needs to soften. The room needs lighting that is more incandescent. Also a lamp by the love seat would would give some light to that end of the room.
Otherwise a very pleasant stay! Loved the pillows!"
"Loved the quaint accommodation. If you’re looking to get away from everything this is the place. You anre only a few minutes from town and Mount Rushmore.
