We actually left after changing our clothes for an evening event. We did not feel safe and decided to drive back to Montgomery without returning to the hotel. People were very pleasant. Room was exceptionally clean. But for a rough community there was no visible security. Thank you. I would not recommend for older adults or families.

The hotel is easy to access from the highway And although my expectations were not high given the price I didn’t expect to find a roach in my bed out dirty linens on the bed. The area surrounding the hotel was very drab and the drug activity was very apparent right in the front of the inn. The last minute event I attended at the concert center was close to the hotel which if why I booked. But next time I’ll spend more for peace of mind.

The property needs much improvement. The outside looks like it is been thru a war. The towels were not much bigger than hand towels. The area (I know you can't change this) is a little sketchy. Lobby is uninviting. I've paid less for better.

The bed felt like the sheets had not been changed. The property was run down. The room had what looked like blood on the walls. The Wi-Fi didn't work. Over all disgusted with this hotel.

Was okay.

Stay was okay. However, had to deal with a homeless person who wanted money. We wanted to inform the front desk and There was no one there at the time being. The incident happened around 1-2AM. The next morning, we had informed whomever was at the front desk that there was nobody there at the time being, only for them to state that there was a doorbell on the counter in order to call someone in the back. There is no note to say someone at the front desk will be back in any sort of way.

Run Down Motel

First of all the price was ridiculous. It is located in downtown Birmingham not far from UAB hospital.. Alot of homeless people hanging out at this place. The lobby was horrible, it had a smell and the floor was wet in spots. The outside trash cans were overflowing. The room walls and bathroom door was dirty. They are less then desirable and the TV remote control was nasty ( in another room as well) The top of the mini fridge has rusted spots on top of it. The towels were thin rags. There were big spiders hanging off the curtains. The mattresses are stained. We did not sleep under the covers. The picture on the TV was nothing but static and could not even enjoy that. There is a snack and soda machine in the lobby and also an elevator to take you to the higher floors and a luggage cart to use. All in all I give this place a BIG FAT 0. Don't waste your $100 on this dump. Don't leave your vehicle unlocked or leave any valuables. Sketchy area.
