The room I stayed in had peeling paint and mold around the window. And the 2 bath towels they supplied were soiled. The other room we had the waste bin was full and the towels looked as if they had been used. The staff did supply fresh towels. The parking is limited but they do mention that in the advert,

Pub and inn vibes!

The perfect inn/pub vibe if that is what you’re looking for! Staff was so helpful and friendly with everything. Room was just what we needed for a night. Not a whole lot to do in the area but there is a pub right downstairs and down the road. Parking onsite was a plus

Lou and her team were so helpful,caring and accommodating.All the staff were great,a big thank you to Emma . The locals in the bar below the guest rooms were very friendly. Looking forward to returning,when next in the area. I heartily recommend this hotel and the bar/restaurant

Comfortable double bed, fresh, clean bed linens & towels. Shower, wash basin and toilet clean. Grubby, main thoroughfare stair carpet was a bit off putting, but once inside the room, OK. Would have liked a kettle and toothmug in the room as not provided. I was in Room 4 at the back so no traffic noise from the busy main road. It’s an old building with wonky floors and creaking stairs so foot traffic very noisy 6pm to 11pm approx. Plenty of forecourt parking and a variety of local takeaways to choose from. Will stay there again.

I didn’t stay the second night , there was a Halloween party on the Friday night which was fine but my room was above the outside smoking area and people were out there til gone 3 am talking loudly and I couldn’t get to sleep.

The staff are absolutely amazing, very welcoming and friendly. There are no coffee making facilities in the room but if you ask at the bar they will bring you a fresh cuppa up to your room.

Usually stay here when in Birmingham. Staff always very friendly, can't do enough for you. Clean room comfy bed and great position for bus stop or train into Brum

The rooms are above what is basically a working men's club where you feel like you'll be assaulted or robbed as you walk in. The room was covered in dirty marks on the wall, there was no tea or coffee making facilities, the heater doesn't heat and tv has no channels tuned in and is basically just for wall decoration. There is no free breakfast either. Avoid!
