"I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and came with excellent amenities, including a nice bathtub and a Japanese bidet toilet. Housekeeping was prompt and consistent every day. A special thanks to Ms. Xiao Qing at the reception. "Very impressive. The hotel is located at the top of the Old town which gives a spectacular view of the mountains. The room is comfortable and the free minibar is also a plus. The staff were willing to help but couldn't communicate in English which is fine because WeChat can translate everything. The breakfast menu offers a variety of choices but the portions are quite small so we had to order many times and the wait was a bit long. Highly recommended."

"This hotel in my mind is average. Cleaness is average but definetly not as in the photos (the photos were possibly took when the rooms are new renovation). Fresh air? Don't expect fresh air, as many hotel guests or people nearby are smoking. Since this hotel is not entirely smoke-free, you'll have to settle for air tinged with the smell of cigarettes. For the location, it locates close to the north gate of Lijiang Ancient City and walking distance approximately 8-10 minutes. Quite a lot of...

Lijiang Hotel JunPoXuan

10/10 Excellent

"All of the great reviews are real. The staff is very helpful and Amy’s help with our planning was amazing. We even had to leave our power banks at the airport (non CCC) and she got us one delivered to the hotel in a few hours. The hotel’s location is very quiet, but also only a few steps away from the busy old town. It was a perfect combination for us."

"place looks beautiful! we booked a suite with one bed room! it is a one bedroom house with yard! the place looks very nice! however, the back yard door is open from outside, people can come to house inside yard from outside this back door!"

Yiyuan Snow Mountain View Historical Naxi House - Lijiang Old Town Mufu branch

10/10 Excellent

"Friendly and helpful staff. Met us at the entrance to old town and moved our luggage in (even though late arrival and pouring rain). Lovely quaint courtyard and simple quaint room with good king bed and warm shower. Staff helped us arrange transport for Tiger Leaping Gorge day hike and tickets to a live performance. Like other places it is best to have WeChat set up in advance for communication and if you want, for payment too. Special commendations to staff Bob and Roxana for their warm welcome, copious amounts of tea, and assistance. We would come here again."

SSAW Huama Garden Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The staff were amazingly helpful, especially at breakfast and hailing taxis. Hands down one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed at, the greenery was insane. The rooms were spacious and homely. 10/10 stay."

China Old Story Inn Lijiang Elite Garden

8/10 Good

"The staff were great and very friendly. For that price you can not go wrong. The location is great as well."

Lize Graceland Artistic Suite Inn

10/10 Excellent

"We booked this stay for the last night of our anniversary trip! The accommodation is located within the old town, thus no cars are allowed to enter. However the hotel staff had already contacted me far in advance to arrange luggage pick up so arriving to the hotel was very easy! They also arranged a quieter room for us and surprised us with a cake too! We loved the stay, very different to your usual city hotels but regardless it had all the amenities we needed. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly and location is quiet yet a stones throw away from tourist spots. "
