"Narrow, steep stairs. Two lifts - no one to help us. We took the wrong one. Kitchen shown as comprehensive in the photo; but no frying pan or spatula. Second garage door closed too quickly whilst we were still reading instructions. "

"It was nice that, having arrived an hour before the formal check-in time, we were able to go straight to the room - that meant we were able to get to the beach much more easily - something that was especially useful given that the next day was rained out. Otherwise the room was fine - functional, neat and tidy without being a wow room - but that wasn't what we were looking for - it's not the sort of room you'd want to spend hours in (though we did have a drink one night and that went well) but the location of the hotel is its greatest selling point."

"Over a weekend with many "older" delegates at a Conference nearby, only one lift worked - repair people were on site on Friday, but not Saturday or Sunday. The delays were ridiculous and the staff attempted to explain the situation on basis that lift "could not" be fixed: I bet you it was fixed soon after when the rates were lower."

"When we first arrived in our room, we couldn't even open the sliding door to see the pool area (glimpses of it) and the flyscreen was ripped. I went downstairs to Reception and let them know about the damaged doors. The lady was polite and put us into another room. However, the glass door was again in need of repair. We couldn't be bothered going back to reception. The spa was out of action as it was getting repaired. We were looking forward to using that amenity. Lastly, we couldn't get to sleep on the Saturday night due to all of the noise by a group of young adults screaming and carrying on. As we had to leave by 4am the next day for a long travel home, we really were struggling to find anything good with our stay. We had stayed there a few times before but this is the last time we are going back. "
