"The front office closes at 3:00 so we had to check in over the phone. The room looked like it hasn't been used in a couple of months with spiders and spider webs throughout the room but the Linens and towels were fresh. When we brought these issues to the attention of the attendant in the morning they gave us complimentary breakfast."

"We left a valuable item behind and are so thankful that MamaK retrieved it for us and worked it out with us to retrieve it. We really appreciate that Karen Its a very cozy place. What’s not to like when you are lounging in the outdoor clawfoot bathtub, at 7am, listening to cows, a rooster and lots of birds, as deer saunter by in the yard. The hot tub was very clean and the unit was very well provisioned. Uniquely and tastefully decorated. We head to the area at least once a year but have never stayed in Duncan Mills but this will be our go to place from now on. And by the way, visit the bakery there, the baker there bakes up super good pastries and stuffed lunch croissants "

"Spacious house, beautiful landscape full of ferns moss redwoods Japanese maples, and a yard full of banana slugs. We found 25! The hot tub was clean and inviting. The beds were extremely comfortable. Fantastic gas stove and Weber barbecue. Great place to stay."
