"The location is great. Easily walk to the Bryggen and Bergenhus fortress. Hotel has plenty of parking behind the building. We were also very impressed with the breakfast included with our stay. So delicious and many varieties. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to my friends."

The staff was very nice and helpful, and the room was basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. This is not a luxury hotel, but perfect if all you need is a place to sleep and eat a fulfilling breakfast. You can't beat the location, right on the waterfront, and a nice little bar on the ground floor for people watching."

"Our room had a nice water view and breakfast, though crowded, was good. Because of the ongoing hotel cleaners strike in Norway housekeeping was affected and very limited though staff had towels available and assisted well through the front desk. One issue was that the shower, even when being careful, tended to attempt to flood the floor requiring extra towellls to sandbag the situation. All staff were friendly, attentive and helpful."

"My biggest complaints are that the beds and bedding were terrible. The TV also only had 2 channels and the chairs in the room were also uncomfortable. Good incentive to stay out and about, but i definitely think it is overpriced for such an uncomfortable room. The gym and breakfast were nice, and the staff was helpful."
