"The hotel is convinently located within walking distance to MTR station, bus and tram stop. A11 airport bus stop in front from the airport and within walking distance to the stop heading to the airport. It appears that the rooms of this hotel vary in their decor, so the experience of your stay depends on the room given. In my case, the room is clean and tidy, kind of no frills, but it's pretty spacious by HK standard. The common areas including the lobby, the lifts and corridors look quite dim and in need of an update. The room looks better than the common areas though. I'm kind of happy enough, but thought it's more of a 3 star hotel instead of 4."

"Really enjoyed our stay at The Emperor Hotel. The hotel was located at a very convenient spot for us; a very comfortable walking distance to Causeway Bay and Wan Chai station. Getting to Ocean Park by bus was quick and convenient too. The room was comfortable, had AC and sockets were placed conveniently beside the beds (including plug sockets and USB plug ins). The bathroom sink consisted of a hot tap and cold tap making it easy to use; a non slip mat for the shower was also a plus. Despite us not having breakfast and leaving the hotel/starting the day sporadically during our stay, it never ceased to amaze me how on track the housekeeping was. We were never disturbed and always came back to a nice and clean room. The view was also magnificent and was particularly pleased with the ceiling (close to) floor window. The beds were very comfortable and the staff at reception were nice and helpful with queries. The only downsides were the fridge in the room was not cold and the room overall was slightly cramped. Despite this, I will definitely be booking with The Emperor Hotel again during my next Hong Kong stay. "

"The hotel was really busy during our stay. The staff is nice, helpful. There is some construction in front of the hotel & some other hotels nearby are closing down, didn’t feel safe walking at night. My last 2 nights, I believe I got some bed bugs, my legs were full of red bumps & itchy. I did complain at the checkout this morning, they took photos of my legs & said they will investigate. I just told them that the room need to be fumigated so next person will not have same problem. "

"The breakfast was not fresh and did not have many options for consume and it did not exceed my expectation. Although the staff provided fair service but I asked for 115V adapter to charge my devices and they did not provide it. In addition, the room condition was awesome and super clean and the air condition was working pretty good too and I could not complaint about it. "
