Relax on the porch swing out on the deck and take in the spectacular mountain and valley views. Be sure to claim a rocking chair! Guests are free to cook up dinner on the private gas grill or in the full kitchen. Enjoy the secluded atmosphere outside or take it inside and enjoy the gas fireplace or the relaxing indoor hot tub.

The secluded nature of this cabin is part of it's charm. But just under five miles from the cabin lies Swan Drive In, perfect for a movie date night. The Lake Blue Ridge Marina offers pontoon boat rentals for lake fun just under nine miles from the cabin. The Expedition: Bigfoot! Sasquatch Museum offers an unconventional museum experience just over three miles away.

Everything was perfectly set up for our stay! The hot tub was clean and easy to use. Directions for all amenities clearly explained and readily available. View was fantastic. Everything you’d need for relaxing visit provided (books, movies, etc) at a really great price, far better than a hotel or inn at a competitive value.

Clean and had the bare necessities for xooking and such. Could have better pots and pans, but ok. Odd smell upon entry. Had to burn a candle.

When we arrived the hot tub wouldn't get hot. we followed the directions carefully. We contacted Vacasa and they sent out an electrician the next day. He eventually found that the breaker had tripped and reset it. About 5 hours later the water was warm so I got in. Turning on the jets must have tripped the breaker. Anyway, not a pleasant experience. It took up a lot of our time and the breaker tripped again. This could be very dangerous and should be looked at by a licensed electrician.I went to put out the garbage but the can was halfway down the hill. Looks like a bear had got to it. I left our kitchen bag garbage just inside the door as I couldn't get the can back up on level ground.

OLD SMELL

The cabin was cute, pictures are accurate, however, it had an old smell to it and it was not pleasant, the mattress was not comfortable to us, and there was pet hair on the couch too.. the jacuzzi saved the stay.

Blue Ridge visit

Good location for a taste of the Blue Ridge life. Located at the end of a ridge overlooking three mountains. Property was clean and accurate and comfortable (sofas were a bit soft for us!) and the bed was great. The TV was pretty tricky to operate but w some patience we managed to figure it out too. Only 10 min from downtown. Be prepared for winding gravel roads !!

Beautiful little cabin

We had a great time at Twin Peaks. The cabin had the best view, it was quiet, it was clean, and had great decor and nice linens with extras of everything we could need. The only downside was that we booked through Vrbo, but received correspondence through Vacasa. This meant we missed the accurate info on how to get the hot tub hot, as the full instructions aren’t posted on the hot tub sheet in the cabin. We didn’t get to use the hot tub because of this, but it didn’t make us unhappy. We truly loved our stay.

Unit needs some attention

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Twin Peaks II. Amenities in the unit have declined. You actually need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to navigate the terrible roads to get to the cabin. When we arrived at 9:00p.m., we attempted to open the front door with the code to no avail. We called the office and was told that they had forgotten to add the * to the code. The wiring in the unit makes it hard to find which switch turns on what. The plates in the kitchen are chipped and cracked. I would not eat from them, and the pots stored over the refrig are so old and pitted, I would not use them. There were only 4 forks and there needs to be more drinking glasses, maybe some that match! They need to be replaced. We love the area, and the view makes all the bad go away. Just a few updates and the cabin would be the best on the mountain. That made our trip nice, but a kitchen that you could actually use for prepping a dinner would be great. Maybe a rep from your company needs to check the unit. We could not find a broom or a mop. Enough said? Nope! the TV was not operable and when your office was called, their response was they would send a Dish rep to repair, but we were out of TV service the entire stay. We feel some compensation is due. Possibly the return of part of our fee should be considered. It makes good business sense. Thank you.

Not quite as expected

I was looking for a secluded romantic getaway. View was grear, location not so secluded. Living roon tv did not work. I noticed the cabin was a bit dusty. Other than that we were happy with the accommodations.

Outstanding Propeery

We spent Easter weekend in this unit. Everything we needed was in the house. The view from the deck is relaxing. We watched Spring unfold before our eyes! Would certainly rent again

I gotta go back!

I loved everything about this place. The view was so serene. The inside was so cozy. Once i figured out how to work the hot tub nd fireplace everything else just fell into place. The bed was so comfy. I hadn't slept that good in long time. Really good cell service too. I was kinda shocked about that. I took my own movies but they had a few good ones too! This place is def a 10. I will be back.

Tranquil spot in a cozy home lol and

This cabin was so amazing my boyfriend and I did not want to leave. The view was incredible. The home was cozy and clean. Getting there wasn’t hard. The only small issues we had were that there was only two towels provided, for two people, for two days, even though the home has a chlorine spa and they ask you to shower before and after use. So basically, we had to use damp chlorine towels after showering which was inconvenient and unexpected. There was like an army’s supply of blankets in the house but just two bath towels. I was told that was normal for two people. I’d definitely change that . The second night, we couldn’t get the cable to work in the bedroom, and the dvd player froze, so we gave up. That was slightly inconvenient as well, but fine. The tvs are also super small which was surprising but it didn’t matter much. Anyhow, we would definitely come back!!
