sweet chalet in paradise

"This was a cute place to stay, and while in the hosts property it was very private. The host was amazing and very knowledgeable about things to do in the area as well as excursions around the island. She was even able to set up most excursions wanted. The AC worked great and the pool was a nice touch after we had been out for a long day. We would definitely stay here again."

"Couldn’t have been happier with our choice here. About a 20min taxi to the “tourist” areas but the local restaurant near the villa are arguably better than the ones on the north end of the island. Beaches near us were relatively empty in comparison to the north end of the island. Only suggestion I have to future visitors is to keep the bathroom door shut when running the AC. The room gets very cold once you do this. Otherwise, it can get a little toasty. 5 stars all around. If we come back to Aruba we will be staying here again."

"My husband and I spent our honeymoon here, and it was a lovely stay. The private pool was gorgeous and was much larger than the pictures. The home was clean and spacious. We really appreciated the beach chairs and cooler, so we didn't have to bring or buy any. The house is very close to the airport and is around a 15-25 minute drive from most activities and restaurants. I would recommend renting a car if you are staying here because the taxis can be expensive. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place!"

"House has a great outdoors. It is a little on the old side but that is part of the charm. The host was amazing! Very responsive and kind. Anything we could have needed for the beach was available to us.Nothing they can do about this issue….the neighbors dogs are very loud and bark a lot."

"I had to put everything a five star because it really was. I didn’t had any negative experience at all. The host was very friendly/polite and informative concerning where to go and eat, the accommodation was clean and utilities were functional, the property and neighborhood were safe. I mean, those are the things that mattered to me."

"The property owner was very welcoming and helpful with sightseeing in the area. The communication and check ins with how my stay was were good. I would definitely stay there again because it is away from all of the tourist areas but still close to the natural rock formations and other attractions. My only suggestion would be to change the blinds for privacy and maybe put a shampoo/conditioner dispenser in the shower.it is hard to bring all of that through TSA when traveling out of country. Overall, I personally had a good experience."
