Villa with Amazing Views

"The listing was accurate. It is a lovely looking villa in an isolated hilltop position (with fabulous views).We’ve driven on far worse roads in Italy and Spain, but steady hands and concentration are required all the way up and down; the one time that reversing was required was interesting!The villa was clean and well presented when we arrived (having met and followed the property manager Carl for the initial welcome). He was always quick to respond with our queries; thanks Carl.The villa is great. It’s modern, comfortable, the a/c works well, and the kitchen/dining area had enough space for us to move around.Outside, the bbq is fab, the pool is a good size, and there’s plenty of places to sit, sunbathe and relax. Once the sun has risen over the mountains above Cómpeta, the villa was in constant sunshine all day. There are places to find shade if you need it. The pool was always warm.It’s about 25 minutes to walk down the “road” to Archez; it might take you longer to walk back up!We had a great week relaxing here. It’s ideal for those who want privacy and don’t mind driving. You can see Cómpeta from the villa. It’s only 6 km away, yet takes 16 minutes. Hope you enjoy your stay here; all six of us did."

"We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad in de villa van Carlos, We hadden graag langer willen blijven. De villa is schitterend en heel ruim. In het echt nog mooier dan op de foto's. Het uitzicht is adembenemend. De weg naar de villa is prima te rijden, Het zwembad is heerlijk en de tuin is ook heel mooi.Carlos is een geweldige host en staat altijd voor je klaar.Wij komen graag nig een keer terug!!!Bedankt Carlos voor je goede zorgen!"

"Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette villa. Le logement est conforme à la description, avec un vaste espace extérieur, un cadre calme et reposant, et une vue magnifique. La communication avec Adam a été fluide et l’arrivée au logement s’est déroulée sans difficulté.Points forts : Exactitude de l’annonce, facilité d’arrivée, cadre paisible, vue exceptionnelle et disponibilité de l’hôte.Points faibles : Accès à la villa un peu difficile sur le dernier kilomètre, présence d’insectes et connexion au réseau Wi Fi parfois instable ou limité."

"Very relaxing break at Malaga Hills. Breakfast was great with a selection of fruit and croissants. The indoor pool kept cool all day and the honesty bar meant you were largely left to your own devices. That said, Vreneli, Ruud and staff were very helpful for booking restaurants, with Malaga Hills getting the best spots reserved. Great stay, would happily go back and enjoy the tranquil surroundings."

"Heel mooi, afgelegen vakantiehuis, perfect volgens de beschrijving. Moeilijke weg er naartoe, zeker de eerste keer, maar het went wel. Soms opletten met om niet teveel elektrische toestellen tegelijk te laten aanliggen of de waterpomp slaat uit. Maar laat dit je niet afschrikken. Ik zou dit huis zeker aanraden als je de drukte van Costa Blanca wat wilt ontvluchten en houdt van panoramische uitzichten!"

"Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dem Haus. Heinz und Wolfgang waren immer erreichbar und haben sich gut gekümmert.Der Ausblick und die Ruhe beim Haus waren großartig. Die Ausstattung war für uns ebenfalls genau richtig.Besonders schön sind die Pflanzen und Kakteen im Garten.Wenn man Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe sucht, ist man hier richtig.In 30 Minuten ist man unten am Wasser und bei Einkaufsmöglichkeiten."

"We had a fantastic stay and our hosts couldn't have been more accommodating. Georgina, their housekeeper, was always on hand to answer any queries and follow up. The property itself is perfect and has everything and more you would require within it; the quality of appliances and products were very good. The driveway isn't for the fainthearted but you don't get views to die for without climbing high, and the views really are something else. Competa itself is a seven minute drive away and is a very pretty town (in my opinion much nicer than it's neighbour Frigiliana) and has all you need; restaurants, supermarkets and lovely streets to stroll around. If you're looking for quality accommodation within a beautiful setting you can't do much better."

"Very well equipped and comfortable property. We felt though that it needed a bit of maintenance. The outside shower didn’t work, only one light surrounding the pool worked, the loo paper holder in the bathroom kept falling off the wall, the water in the shower fluctuated and could suddenly be boiling hot for no apparent reason and it would have been nicer to have had a flat sheet on top of the bed rather than a duvet cover as it didn’t cover the bed. A great relaxing week though and we enjoyed the village of Competa."

"Ein sehr schönes Haus mit guter Ausstattung und stilvoller Einrichtung. Das Grundstück ist sehr schön angelegt. Die Poolterrasse und die beiden Terrassen am Haus sind tolle Aufenthaltsorte. Der Pool ist sehr angenehm. Von den vorderen Terrassen hat man eine schöne Aussicht auf die Stadt und das Meer und auf die umgebenden Berge. Die Anfahrt auf den kleinen Bergstraßen ist nicht ganz einfach, aber machbar. Ventilatoren sind vorhanden und nachts sehr nützlich."
