"What a wonderful building! We were in the “suite” and it was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. The breakfast was plentiful with a good choice to suit all tastes and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. We took their advice on an excellent place to have dinner and it didn’t disappoint "
"Highly recommend. Gorgeous, central location overlooking the main Plaza and church tower. Incredible service - Maurice went above and beyond, meeting me at the town border to guide me through town to the parking spot, carrying my suitcase to and from my room, and providing me excellent advice on dining and sights. I also loved the rooftop gourmet breakfast and well-stocked honor bar. Such a thoughtful place to stay."
"Cute little B&B right in near the centre of Competa, walking distance to supermarket, bars and restaurants.
The room was clean and had all the necessities, a comfortable bed, and roomy shower with lots of hot water.
Hosts were very quick to respond and provided easy instructions. The evening view from the terrace was definitely worth it!"
"Really enjoyed my stay here. Very quiet but only 2 min walk from the pedestrian area of Nerja. Pool area was nice with enough loungers. Very clean hotel and staff were always friendly."
"Amazing guesthouse, super clean with an amazing terrace and even a small swimmingpool. The owners are super friendly and serve you a great breakfast, would love to stay longer here, we had a fantastic stay. "
"We stayed with our 2 children for 2 nights in these apartments and they were great. Very modern and spotlessly clean. The apartment was a bit small for more than a couple of nights but was fine for the duration we were there.
Unfortunately we had to report a maintenance issue but it was sorted very quickly while we went for dinner.
The automated check in was a bit clunky - but we got there in the end!
Great place to say while in Nerja and would stay again. "

New luxury villa, 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, private pool
10/10 Excellent
"We spent a wonderful week in the villa, exploring Torrox, Nerja and Competa. Everything is well set up with 2 bedrooms together downstairs with a shared bathroom which was perfect for us to be close to the kids. Upstairs, there is a master suite and another twin bedroom just down the hall, with its own bathroom. The terraces are lovely little sun traps but the outdoor kitchen and dining area is where we spent most of our time, as well as the pool, which was fine for our group of 6 but at times did feel a little crowded, especially with kids jumping and splashing. We were met by Elisa in Competa and she showed us the way up to the villa, which is tucked away off the main road between Competa and Canillas de Albaida. You should be aware that it is a long and winding road up from the motorway so be prepared for the drive, which takes about half an hour up a very twisty road after you exit at Algarrobo. The drive will not be for everyone, especially if you get car sick easily. Aside from that its a perfect villa with putstanding views across the wonderful landscapes and a great place to visit the ancient towns and villages in the area. Malaga is approximately an hour away, with Marbella about a 1hr45 drive. "
"Absolutely fantastic villa. Very modern, clean and well equipped. Spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Fantastic pool and outdoor space! Beautiful views!!! Very helpful host and villa management. Thanks again and We will be back. "

Malaga Hills Double Comfort Boutique & Wellness Hotel -Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"Vréneli, Ruud, Estrella and Estela couldn’t have been better hosts.
This is a fabulous space to relax in mountains of Andalusia, after an hour or so driving from Málaga airport. We hired a car from the airport and were glad to have chosen an automatic with a little more power than the average entry level rental car. The drive is fairly straightforward from Málaga Airport.
By all accounts there are some amazing hikes, although the purpose of our trip was to switch off and relax as much as possible, and we had no intention of doing anything active.
It’s tough to beat a delightful breakfast, freshly prepared and beautifully presented by Estela or Estrella, either looking towards La Maroma (the highest peak of the Sierra de Tejeda) or, from the other side of the table, down the valley to the Mediterranean Sea. Made better still with quality coffee, (and Cava’s always an option).
Both Estrella and Estela were very patient with our extremely rudimentary Spanish conversations and have great local knowledge. Estrella very kindly made dinner reservations for us each night at different restaurants around Cómpeta, a short drive away. Our favourites were El Cortico Paco and for accommodating dietary requirements, the staff at El Pámpano were particularly helpful.
We have already recommended Málaga Hills to friends and colleagues since returning home."
"Great place to stay, a lovely welcome and well-kept, clean bedroom. A good breakfast selection eating on the terrace with wonderful views. Wouid recommend!"
