"The hotel has no reception personnel. To enter the building from the garage, or the main entrance, you need to have a 4 digit code that should be included in the booking confirmation - this code did not come with the confirmation from expedia. The telephone at the keypad from the garage had its cord ripped out of the wall, so it was not usuable to gain entry. Once inside, you had to check-in at a terminal that required the booking code. Great location and excellent breakfast

"The hotel is very conveniently located, within walking distance to the train station, grocery stores and a discount store. Make sure to walk to Rheinfelden, Switzerland, which is a very nice, underrated town. The breakfast at Hotel Danner was among the best of our 3-week European escapade. The staff at the front desk was excellent, especially the young man whose name I wish I remembered. He gave us very good advice about Basel. I definitely want to go back to Hotel Danner."
