"We had an amazing stay. Everything was perfect, the staff was great and very friendly. The breakfast was vast and delicious. Easy to park. Easy to get in and get out. Very informative. Lots of papers and guides to guide you through the area and the hotel. "

"We stayed two night in hotel overall. when we went first time there was no one at reception we saw note for self check. in we start doing it and system wasnt taking our canadia no we tried with swzerland and candian no then lady walk in after 10 min and she started staring at us no hello or hi we keep trying online then after few mint she asking what we need then we explain we are trying to check in and system is not taking our both contact that we tried then she said she can do, she wanted us to do online secheck-in only that was our first day check in experincing and she dont speak english at all we left hotel after one night it was nt bad second thing there was no air -conditioner in room and we kept the window open and it was very noisy after that and next morning we left the hotel And we booked the hotel 2 night again online as were getting it cheaper then first day and it was close to airport too and we went 9:30pm to check in as reception close at 10pm and lady was keep saying to us why we didnt do the self check as we had issues earlier so didnt tried and she was upset about it and she told us she is off at 10pm we should do check in online as she has other imp things to do then we explained her we are having a issues for self checking yesterday and she started changing the garbage left us strugling for elf checkin online and also she said she cant do check in in person as the tap machine is not working she can take cash only and we had no cash and luckly it worked"

"Staff was great, the room was clean but outdated. The hotel felt "tired" as if it used to be great but corners were cut to save money. For a hotel in such a beautiful location, it felt unremarkable. Nothing wrong but so much lost potential."

"For room 404 - Large fan needed for room, in warm months, as even with temperature off, AC was too noisy at full level. Also for some reason the external window blinds opened right up to let the hot sun in and wouldn't drop down even when 🔽 button was kept pressed? USB ports were not working for my phone and mini fan to charge the batteries, on this visit. Pillows could have been a little plumper and firmer for a more comfortable sleep as 3/4 were quite flat. Excellent in all other respects and would stay again and recommend to others. Excellent hotel location, nestled in Swiss hillside. Transport right outside to the heart of Zurich city Regular taxis appearing to take customers to the airport. Exceptional service and so clean in hotel and everywhere you go. Bathroom facilities absolutely immaculate. I would have preferred breakfast at hotel to be a waiting on dining service, with menu on table and meet and greet hosting service on arrival to the restaurant, as the self service style was a little off putting for the price (30CHF). Super clean everywhere though. A small pantry close to reception provided refreshments and snacks whilst waiting. It would have been nice to have some complementary cooled Swiss bottled water in the room refrigerator in addition to this but excellent in all other respects. IKEA also 2 minute walk from hotel, really clean, clear layout, outstanding toilet facilities again and everywhere you go in Switzerland. Cannot fault it otherwise. "

"Great location. So close to the train station. We had some day trips planned so it was perfect we were able to get off the train and drop our luggage off. The staff was very helpful and let usdrop the bags off early. My room was updated clean and modern. I did not have an outlet in the bathroom so it was a bit of a challenge to blow dry and flat iron my hair :-) also a bit tricky the blinds Have a power switch but you can't see what they are doing from where the switch is located. We figured it out though. Very good value and walking distance to lots of shops. Only major drawback was the noise! Even with Windows closed there was a lot of screaming yelling and dogs barking. Probably bars around? Not sure but we were so tired we still fell asleep"

"Expedia fails to protect its customers when the service is not delivered as expected. During our stay, renovation work started directly above our room at 7:00 a.m. without any prior notice. The noise was extremely loud, woke us up immediately, and made it impossible to return to sleep. This significantly impacted our stay and our ability to use the room for its primary purpose. This was meant to be a short vacation to rest, but instead it was disrupted in a way that made it impossible to relax. We reported the issue to reception as soon as it opened at 8:00 a.m., after trying unsuccessfully to rest for an hour. The solutions offered were not practical, as the disruption had already occurred. The hotel staff acknowledged the issue on site and indicated that compensation would be provided. However, after our departure, they refused to offer any compensation or resolution. What is particularly disappointing is how this situation was handled by Expedia. Despite clear evidence of a service failure, the case was treated as a standard cancellation request rather than “service not provided as expected.” The case was closed based solely on the property’s response, without addressing the actual issue. As the issue remains unresolved, I have initiated a chargeback process with my bank due to the failure to provide the service as expected."
