"This was an amazing place, beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, clean and tidy. The view from the balcony of the restaurant was amazing. The only thing was that the breakfast was nothing fancy. Other than that, 10/10."

"Breakfast was included but rarely any choice. If something ran out, it wasn't topped up. Had a boiled egg once in 6 days! No air conditioning or fan in the room. It was a small room with no air circulation in 34° heat, it was terrible. The staff/owners couldn't speak English so I couldn't tell them the problems. I would definitely not go back here or recommend it to anyone. Worst stay in a long time."

"We arrived late so the restaurant at the hotel was the only option but it was an excellent choice, room was clean, quiet, spacious, wifi a bit weak at our end of the building. Old town is a short walk on the path along the river."

"Fantastic property in quiet rural area with everything needed for a perfect stay. Plenty of space for our group of 3 adults. There are wonderful walks from the door and the property is in a good location to explore the southern Black Forest. The property is within hour of Zurich and Basel and was an ideal base for us to use for the Women's Euros quarter finals.There is a supermarket and restaurant in Rickenbach which is only 5 minutes by car or 25 minutes walk on country paths.Michael is a super host, providing effective communication and easy to talk to."
