Relaxing Cozy Cabin in the Heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Pet friendly

This cozy cabin sits secluded on top of a mountain boasting breathtaking views. You can entertain and grill on the large back deck. You can snuggle up to the wood burning fire on those chilly nights or when returning home from your ski adventure.
The upstairs has an open floor-plan with a formal dining space. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher and microwave. There is cable T.V. in all the bedrooms along with a DVD/VCR player. The cabin also has WIFI for your convenience.

The cabin is minutes to all the major ski resorts in the area along with some great fishing, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, hiking, superb dining and shopping. The cabin sleeps a total of 8 with a queen in the master and in the spare bedroom there is a double and 2 twins. There is also a queen pull out couch and an extra twin mattress in the closet for the kids if needed. The community features a maid service, tennis courts, hiking trails, a swimming pool and a clubhouse for all your needs.

The cozy cabin was perfect for our city escape. Everything was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being right in the center of all the surrounding destinations while having lofts of great nature in our backyard.

Wonderful place in a great location. Owner was accommodating when I needed to change the number of nights I had booked. Kitchen had all I needed for cooking and the back deck is great for sunset cocktails

Fantastic stay!

The “Cozy Cabin” is surprisingly spacious and well-equipped. Very comfortable for our family of four, with room to spare. Great location (you’ll want 4WD/AWD if visiting in the winter).

Cute cottage, great location

Cute cottage perched on a hilltop. Easy checkin and very convenient to Boone or Banner Elk. The children loved the bunk beds and we all enjoyed the fresh mountain breeze off the deck.

Another great weekend stay

We had another great stay in the cozy cabin. We enjoy the private location and the beautiful mountain views from the decks and couches. We really appreciate being able to bring our fur babies. The cabin is very clean and comfortable. Steve is easy to communicate with and checking in and out is a breeze. We hope to return again soon!

We really enjoyed the cabin! Great communication with owner, and the cabin was very clean and cozy. And close enough proximity to Beech and Sugar skiing and Banner restaurants! I would definitely rent again :)

Relaxing stay

Safe, secure, clean and conveniently located to Grandfather mountain, Boone, Blowing Rock, etc. The cabin is as advertised and included all the amenities we were looking for including fully equipped kitchen, grill and pool access. Great location

House was in a great area, secluded but close to lots of things to do. We used the pool almost daily (just fyi - you do need to drive to the pool from the house), and found hiking close by every day. There was so much to do we could’ve kept busy for another couple of weeks. No complaints at all - this place was wonderful.

Great location, comfortable cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin in Mill Ridge. It is located at the top of the community, so feels very private and secluded, yet convenient to all of the major attractions including Grandfather Mountain, Valle Crucis, Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock, etc. The cabin was the perfect size for our family of 4 (me, wife, two young boys) and the main living area, master bath and kitchen felt clean and recently renovated. A very, solid, affordable option for a trip to the mountains within easy driving distance to multiple activities.

Sweet rustic cabin.

The cabin is private and quiet, with a nice Mountain View. It needs some updating as regards linens and mattresses. Kitchen appliances all worked perfectly. Interior stairs are steep, for older guests to be careful. Perfectly located

Top of the Mountain

What a great stay! It snowed both days I was there, but no issues with the roads leading up. The cabin was cozy, had amazing views, and was close to everything. I cooked two meals there and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything I needed. The master bad was super comfy! I'll be back!

Surpassed Our Expectations

We booked a last minute escape to find this gem. We have stayed in different VRBO accommodations for years and this one was the best by far. The description described the place perfectly. The location is central to EVERTHING in that area. The property had a great feel and very clean. I would highly recommend this place and working with the owner Steve was a dream. In the area make sure to check out the Linville Falls and Caverns and try out the Peddlin Pig for some great Barbeque.

Nice Cabin Close to Many Attractions

Cabin was great. It was close to Boone and our planned activities including alpine coaster and snow tubing. All needed amenities for us were included. Took us a few minutes to find the trundle under the bunk bed for the 8th person but there was also an extra mattress present. Host was readily available when we needed him. Very communicative, responsive and apologetic for a situation completely out of his control. Only consideration I would include is we drive a ford transit with our large family and it struggled a bit with getting up the hillside in the cabin community. A smaller car or four wheel drive would have been easier to drive, but ultimately we made the trip three times :)

Comfy cabin at the end of the road

Just a quick trip to Boone, this cabin was really close to everything we were doing plus had a beautiful view. Comfortable living area made it a great time for the family.
