I would like to commend all the staff from the reception amd all the crew member of this hotel, awesome service, greetings every time they see us, the open the doors for us. Excellent service, the housekeeping forget to put tissue on our washroom, but its ok they replace it right away. Everything is perfect

Property was perfect location. In the middle of all the action. For the price great. Room was fine. Only downside was the shower. Poor water flow. Staff friendliness off the charts. Beautiful island. Worth every second to visit. - visit 2 brown boys restaurant. Best food on the island.

The Uptown hotel is a older style mid range hotel on Boracay beach. The rooms are basic and completely lacked hot water for shower or washing. There is an outdoor pool area. The hotel lobby area has a series of very noisy rock music bands playing until after midnight on every night of the week. Any customers would be well advised to bring secure ear plugs if they want any sleep. Customers would also be advised to use another hotel if they wanted any hot water.

I tell to reception we have early check out on the morning because of changes schedule.. then on time we check out.. the assign front desk ask me if the reception last night offer me a packed breakfast.. I said No. Even I told the reception we check out early in 5am. Anyway its just a breakfast. But i think almost 12,000 pesos for this hotel is not worth it. Other staff is Good

My experience in Uptown Hotel was terrible. There was cockroach’s on the floor. The water pressure in the shower barely worked. I felt like I didn’t feel clean after my shower. The bed was too tough causing me to have back and neck problems. The towels are poor quality. The only thing that’s good about Uptown Hotel is the location. Stay away from this hotel. It is very expensive and a terrible experience especially for the high paying price I paid for. I paid $1,300 for 7 nights just to experience a 1 star Hotel. I don’t recommend this place.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING *nothing* like the pictures!

This hotel is not even close to 4 Star and has no business advertising itself as such. The shower had minimal hot water and was a trickle. Premier Deluxe room contains a jacuzzi. Nice huh? It was broken - no hot water, the plug didn't work (it had a string tied to it so you could pull it out of the drain), and the jets were completely inoperative with their control removed and covered in duct tape. Your "ecstatic sensation" and "hip and modern facilities" at the Infinity pool include exposed wires, splattered paint on room windows, multiple bags of cement piled up against the wall, stacked up tiles, random plastic chairs and tools, miniature scaffolding and something that resembles a rack for drying clothes - it legitimately looks like construction sight. Throw in some empty paint buckets too. No deck chairs in the pool like in the pics - they're stacked up next to the entrance to the pool area and caked in dust. The swim up pool bar is completely inoperative and used as a storage area and is equally as filthy as the patio. There are no tiles or flooring of any kind on the patio leaving the cement beneath exposed, cracked and rough. "Hip and modern facilities" continue with the showers and toilets - just move the mop and bucket in the shower to the side if you want to rinse off after your swim. Mind the rotting and rusted doors when using the toilet - hope you've had your shots. Blends perfectly with the rotting wood and corrugated iron that is the pool "bar". See pics

We had an absolutely amazing time. The facility was great, the staff was great. The only reason I could not give it a 5 star review is because of the staff member at the rooftop pool trying to solicit excursions for the next day. I was bombarded and harassed enough on the beach that the last thing I wanted was one of the hotel staff members trying to get us to buy something from him. Or at least use his card so he could get a kickback. Other than him, the staff was top notch.

Einer der schönsten Unterkünfte auf Boracay !! War schon in einigen aber Uptown war mit Abstand das Beste !! Super freundliches Personal immer hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend !! Man ist direkt an der DMall (Einkaufsstraße von Boracay) und natürlich direkt am Strand & am Abend kriegt man sogar 2x eine mega Show (Feuershow) geboten als kann es jedem nur weiterempfehlen - werd es aufjedenfall wieder buchen !!

The hotel is front of the beach, near shops, restaurants, and was able to book a Tuktuk tour around the island. It took me about less than hour to go from and back to the airport during dry season.

This is not a 4 star Hotel. Two at best, I would call it a 3 star because of the location and staff. Doors going out to the deck, did not operate correctly. Water pressure in the shower could barely keep the switch from going back to the faucet. The hot tub in the room did not work. The transfer from the hotel to the airport was 1900 psp for two people. If I would have did it myself it would have coast about half that. Location was great staff was great. Price of it all was way too high. I looked through most of the negative reviews and I do agree with most of them.

I like the location due to proximity to the beach. Breakfast was good. The Staff are super great! I was told by a Staff from a neighboring hotel (Mandarin I think) that I can’t use their beach cot/lounge chairs. So I moved. There is only like three or four provided by Uptown. The ones provided are not as comfortable as the ones provided by the other hotel.

Room has an amazing view of the sunsets and the fire show that they do twice a night. However, it’s really loud from 430pm-midnight. Live music right outside my room. I’m sure other rooms were much more quiet.

The location of this hotel is at Station 2 and is just 2 minutes walk to D’Mall where all the dining and shopping are located. This hotel is also located right next to the beach which is perfect.
