Gorgeous property and fabulous location. Such a stylish and roomy apartment and so close to great restaurants and the city tram network. Highly recommend staying at this property.

Artful apartment in the center of it all

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this beautiful apartment. It has the charm and design of a glorious old space with the amenities of a truly modern kitchen and bathroom. The space is well appointed with paintings and sculpture as if it is an extension of the Beaux Arts Museum across the street. You can walk anywhere in Bordeaux from here, or take a nearby tram if you wish.

Great condo and amazing location

Spacious and beautiful condo in a great area of Bordeaux. Very nice inside with lots of beautiful character in the condo. On a quiet street right near the amazing St Andre Cathedral and easy walk to restaurants, cafe, shopping etc. Will definitely stay here again!

Dusty, dirty. DO NOT COME!

We stayed in this apartment for 32 days and were shocked by its condition. There were events in town, which made it hard to find another place to move to. The only option would be to stay in several different places during the period and we did not want the burden of having to move multiple times. On second thought, we should have!The place was dirty, dusty, and clearly neglected. We cleaned what we could upon arrival, but it was impossible to make it feel minimally clean. The kitchen had grime and oil on high walls and surfaces we couldn’t reach. Shelves and beds were dusty; the sheets were stained—some with holes—and the entire space felt unhygienic and uncared for.The bathrooms were especially bad and completely misrepresented in the listing. One was described as a "traditional bath," but it was just a very old, unusable tub with no shower. The so-called "modern bathroom" was barely functional—literally a hole in the wall, with an opening of about 30 cm to access the shower. The toilet was crammed into a tiny corner, right against the sink, making it physically uncomfortable to use. On top of that, the floor was broken and the toilet seat was loose.To make matters worse, the listing photos were highly misleading. Most were taken from extremely close angles that concealed the flaws—particularly in the bathrooms, where the cramped, impractical layout was carefully hidden. What we saw in person was nothing like what had been advertised.The front door didn’t lock properly

Bordeaux stay

It is nice to have the owner’s parking card but difficult to drive and park near the apartment and deal with lock box. That said— lovely and charming place, comfortable beds, bathrooms and salon. Excellent location! Wonderful responsive owner—communication was easy and helpful. great for short trips out of city, like Arcachon/Dune du Pilat.

Not a good fit for senior citizens with a car

Managing the process to park the car on a sidewalk and carry bags down the pedestrian street was not a good fit for seniors. The bath with a shower was a very odd design.

Fantastic location for people who aren’t driving

My brother and I are in our 60’s and drove to this property. The apartment is on a pedestrian street, so we had to illegally stop at the end of the street while I ran to the lockbox to get the keys and a parking card. We then drove a few blocks to the parking garage where we opted to grab a few things rather than haul our suitcases down a very busy road. Once inside, what we thought was an elevator was the garbage closet, so we walked up two flights of stairs. We were very tired once inside but needed to eat so found a restaurant nearby. There are many. This would be a great location if you don’t drive into the city. The accommodations were nice. Any glass had to be taken a block away to dispose of near City Hall. Leaving was difficult as well because we had to get the car out before leaving the parking pass in the lockbox. Not a right fit for drivers but would work well otherwise.

Comfortable apartment in an excellent location.

Large comfortable and charming apartment with well appointed kitchen and two comfortable bedrooms with large beds and excellent storage. 1 small shower and 1 very large bath tub. Host were excellent, friendly and helpful. Thanks to Arthur for his help.

Bordeaux City Center

Spacious Appartement in the City Center of Bordeaux. You' ll find everything you need in kitchen and bathroom. Nice decorated with very high ceilings. You also get a Card for a Parking Garage only five minutes away. We loved our stay in this Appartement and Bordeaux.

Great location but

Very well located property and interesting building. Check in process requires access to internet and when communicated with owner prior to arrival, I was told everything would be okay. I had a difficult time getting in and when I finally communicated with property owner, was told to follow the process. While the property was generally clean, had to wash all dishes before using them as last client was not very good at doing so. Bathrooms were not very good - too small and disfunctional, had broken and loose tile, bad shower heads. One bed was comfortable but the other was not. Appartment front door was very difficult to open and close. Also was charged for additional person as we were 2 in a 2 bedroom appartment. Highly unlikely a single person would rent a two-bedroom - cost should be stated up front. All in all, nice location but needs some TLC. I will probably not use VRBO again and will definitely not rent this property again.

Excellent location close to cathedral. Bathrooms are small, an obese person cannot get into the shower. Sitting room is huge. Looks better in photos.

Avoid this property and STAYZ/VRBO

Still awaiting emailed assistance from STAYZ/VRBO Specialised team more than 2 weeks after online chat person promised a response in 24-48 hours, this was after increased frustration levels in dealing with owner/host.. The apartment is large and airy, clean, and a mix of modern and old, but in need of serious maintenance eg. toaster (replaced after 3 days), coffee maker (not replaced), living room ceiling lights didn't ever work. Old equipment in situ not working eg in main bedroom 3 air ?machines, only 1 worked, and that wasn't the advertised air conditioner. Door handles, toilet roll holders, falling off, bathroom sink plug stuck in down position. Didn't even try the modern oven, dishwasher or TV. Basic supplies minimal 2 teabags, for 4 people for 9 days & a few unspecified coffee capsules for broken machine, hardly any soaps, but lots of out of date groceries in cupboard. Many English speaking guests in the Guest book but no instructions in English. Finally. the lack of communication from the host/owner, other than 1 person sent around on about day 2 or 3 who confirmed the above problems and passed this on to owner/host, and the toaster was replaced, nothing else despite our ongoing messages to the owner/host other than being told to use the lamps in living area and the drip coffee machine. Shower and toilet in the modern shower room are a very tight fit and water goes everywhere. Notes about the above were written into the Guest Book.

Außergewöhnliches Appartement

Das Appartement liegt in einer zentralen und bevorzugten Gegend von Bordeaux, nur wenige Schritte entfernt vom Hotel de Ville und dem großen schönen Platz Pey Berland und der Cathédrale Saint André. Auch die Straßenbahn-Haltestelle 'Hotel de Ville' ist nicht weit entfernt. Das Appartement ist gut und geschmackvoll mit vielen Kunstobjekten an den Wänden und in den Regalen ausgestattet. Die Küche ist etwas schmal, aber ansonsten ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Leider sind wir in Bordeaux krank geworden - aber so war es von Vorteil, dass jeder sein eigenes Zimmer zum Schlafen hatte. Bordeaux ist definitiv eine Reise wert! Es gibt unzählige Bistros und Restaurants, auch in unmittelbarer Nähe, und überhaupt, es gibt so vieles Interessante zu entdecken - und da das Appartement in ruhiger Umgebung liegt, kann man sich nach einem lebhaften Tag voller Entdeckungen wunderbar entspannen. Auch im Haus selbst war es immer angenehm ruhig. Das Appartement liegt im 2. Stock, ist über Treppen zu erreichen. Einen Aufzug gibt es nicht. Wir wohnten zwei Wochen in diesem Appartement.

Great location.

Great location with lots of room. We loved the old wooden floors, especially the inset wood. The apartment has everything one could need. The parking is a bit of a walk and for some, the four flights of stairs could be a challenge. WiFi worked well.

Great Location

We loved Nicole’s apartment! The location is superb right down the street from the cathedral. The photos for this apartment really don’t do it justice on the listing. The rooms are beautiful with lots of character. For clarity on anyone wondering the layout one bathroom is off the entrance around the main space and the other bathroom is off one of the bedrooms so it worked well. We stayed with our 9 month old so the travel crib was great and he had his own room. The apartment was very clean. Some of the dishes needed an extra scrub before use but overall it was a clean and well stocked kitchen. Would recommend this to anyone going to Bordeaux.

The best in Bordeaux

This property was more than we expected in its attention to comfort and convenience. Creatively curated and stylish. The location is great and gives walkable access to many open squares with restaurants, cathedrals and interesting shopping. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the apartment.
