Das Gästehaus Flandern 2 ist eine nette, kleine Ferienwohnung für Reisende ohne viel Ansprüche. Die Unterkunft besteht aus nur einem Raum, der aber alles Notwendige enthält. Ein paar mehr Küchenutensilien wie z.B. Schneidbrettchen oder Kochlöffel wären schön gewesen. Ebenso hatten wir kein heißes Wasser aus dem Hahn, so dass wir das Spülen mit Unterstüzung des Wasserkochers erledigen mussten. Ein paar Bilder an der Wand oder generell mehr Borkum-typische Deko wäre schön gewesen. So wirkte die Unterkunft leider mehr "kalt und zweckmäßig". Ein genereller Kritikpunkt, der auf so gut wie alle Ferienwohnungen auf Borkum leider zutrifft: Der frühe Checkout bis 10 Uhr, obwohl Fähren häufig erst um 11:30 Uhr fahren und man sich dann gerade an einem Sonntag 1,5 h langweilen darf. Das war insbesondere deshalb unschön, da es meiner Frau an dem Tag nicht besonders gut ging.
