We needed to book a one night stay in the area south of Boston and chose the Double Tree by Hilton in Rockland. It was a convenient location and we enjoyed a clean and quiet room. Front desk staff could not have been frriendlier and check in was flawless. In addition, it has a Bar and Grill on site so, when we arrived at the hotel just after 7:00 PM after a long day, we were able to have a nice relaxing meal and cold beverage at thier on premises restaurant and found decent food and outstanding service by the bartender. I would recommend this hotel if you need a hotel just south of Boston, aka, on "The South Shore" of Massachusetts.

There was a blizzard. There were beyond many challenges for the staff but they stayed professional and uplifting and friendly. It was a very difficult time for everybody because we were all snowed in. So many of the staff deserve kudos for what they did during that time. The late February blizzard in Rockland Massachusetts. Well done to the staff!!

Staff was very informative and helpful. Great location. It is walking distance to a really nice Italian restaurant called Lucas. Also the hotel breakfast was convenient and really delicious! The fresh fruit, hashbrowns, bacon and real eggs were a hit! It wasnt free, but it was worth the price!
