The door of the first room would not lock. I reported it and was moved to a second room. Second room clean, but old, tacky with no closet space for hanging clothes. Smoke detector was in a dresser drawer. TV wasn’t hooked up to cable. I figured out how to do that myself.

It was just not worth the money, the cleanliness was not up to par but it was the most inexpensive stay in the area. Was warm and cozy but details show that things have not been cleaned for along time but understand times are tough for updates.

Pros: the bed was comfortable and the price was right. The location is convenient to Boston, shopping, and eating. Cons: While there is some vintage charm to the bathroom fixtures and the property overall, the peeling paint, mismatched furniture, and overall sense of decrepitude mean it’s unlikely I would stay here again.
