We had a lovely stay here.
Drinks by the fireplace
Beautiful views
Clean, tidy and unique
An absolute highlight was the staff, especially Michael who was exceptional.
Would highly recommend for a getaway.
Recently refurbished, the property was originally built back in 1928 and, whilst modest, has character. It is idreally situated on the edge of town, with extensive views over the golf course. The bedrooms are small but more than adequate, with comfortable beds and upgraded ensuites with good showers. There is a comfortable lounge area and bar and an attractive dining room, used for breakfast (included in the room rate) and for dinner at Ethos, the acclaimed resturant, one of Bowral's finest. Staff were friendly and attentive. Altogether, we thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay.
Excellent breakfast and lovely friendly staff. Very comfortable beds. Quaint - lovely relaxed atmosphere.
Suggest an addition in every room to explain the TV channels - there are so many and it's not easy to navigate. Perhaps as a start, list the popular free-to-air channels and their corresponding numbers on the system.

A comfortable stay - lovely dinner with attentive service
Outstanding service from all the staff, they went above and beyond to make our stay special, the food was divine at both dinner and breakfast and the bed nice and soft, cosy lounge area with a fireplace to chill with drinks
The keeper's cottage is cosy and quiet, loved the bath. The breakfast room is a beautiful, sunny place in the morning with a view of the golf course. Breakfast options were satisfactory and the food was great.
The staff were very friendly. There was no iron in our room but they had one for us to borrow. They were very apologetic when we told them the fan in our bathroom didn't work. There were just some cobwebs near the ceiling but not a big deal cause the bed and towels were all perfectly clean. As with all hotels, not enough hooks or hangers!
We stayed in the Keepers Cottage which was quaint and comfortable. All staff from check in
to breakfast were very professional and friendly.
Our stay was great and we would certainly return
Rooms were small but very clean, beds very comfortable.
Breakfast was included and was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely location in a 1928 hotel.
Highly recommend if you want a pleasant setting with some old worldly charm
Rooms are beautiful and tastefully decorated. Bathrooms are a bit on the small side but other wise in room ammenities are ample. Breakfast was lovely and satisfying set in a gorgeous space with beautiful views. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We would recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful Highlands weekend away.
The bathroom was dirty, particularly behind the bath, tile grout was also smudged along the tile walls. The management were very polite and positive about the feedback and thankful I mentioned the complaint so they can rectify it.
I have to say that although very fresh, the breakfast (included) was somewhat underwhelming compared to other breakfasts included in the price at other Hotels. 2 eggs, a piece of toast and a slice of bacon. At the very least some grilled tomato and a proper coffee (extra charge) could be included. Overall a great little Hotel with very polite staff.
