Lovely hotel, downstairs restaurant/ pub was buzzing, even on a Monday. Food was excellent and staff were very attentive and helpful, recommend this hotel
The parking was a little difficult until the staff told us want to do. The room was really clean . Bar staff were brilliant and helpful especially Ella.
Wonderful 2 night stay with a friend! The staff were really welcoming, efficient & friendly. The room was spacious & beautifully decorated with a modern clean bathroom & lovely toiletries. Great menu with delicious food, for both the dinner & breakfast. Great value for money & highly recommended. Thank you
Lovely B&B and good value for money. The breakfast was great, the bed was comfy and the bathroom looked like it had recently been refurbished. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
This was a lovely place to stay. Staff were super friendly, room great, and the whole atmosphere good. A tasty breakfast topped it off. Definitely recommend.
Such a lovely friendly place to stay - accommodation is clean, smart and tastefully furnished. Breakfast service is prompt, attentive and fresh food. Bar is dog friendly and red wine lush! Want to stay for pleasure next time to really take it all in.
Lovely! Great location, hotel accommodation was small (single room) but perfectly laid out & comfortable - staff efficient and friendly - only regret was that i couldn't stay longer - would definitely use again

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
The staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
Food was excellent and served quickly.
Rooms were clean and tidy with tea coffee facilities, very welcome.
The hot water wasn't very hot late at night and early morning but nice once it was hot.
Trip was to see family. During the trip one of was unwell (nothing al all to do with the Hotel).
All the staff at the Howard Arms could not have been more helpful. They put themselves out to help and assist.
Howard Arms is an inn, but it's also a restaurant. Once we arrived and settled into our room, it was very easy to go back downstairs and have dinner. They are VERY dog friendly, and we loved the cat that sat on the stairs, enjoying attention from everyone. We were able to park our car right near the front door which made it easy to unload our luggage.
