We booked the King Executive Suite. Ther was hair in the floor as soon as we walked in. There was also a hair ball in the shower beside the drain. I went to the front desk and told the staff working there. She said she could call some one in to take care of it the next day. Plus when I turned on the AC unit. There was a smell of mildew out of it. The intake filters were plugged with hair and dirt. Not worth $300 a night.

I had a very good stay at the Victoria Inn in Brandon. The room was updated and very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We also ate at the restaurant and the food was very good. I especially liked being able to communicate with the hotel by text. I drive an electric vehicle and texted to ask whether there was somewhere I could plug it in. They were able to accommodate me, although I didn’t end up using it because I was already in bed by the time I saw their reply. With more and more people driving electric vehicles, I think the Victoria Inn has an opportunity to promote itself as an EV-friendly hotel. Even having a few designated stalls with access to regular electrical outlets would be a great amenity for overnight guests. The electricity cost for Level 1 charging is relatively small and not much different from guests plugging in block heaters during a Manitoba winter. Overall, we had a great stay and I would definitely stay here again.

Good solid clean hotel with nice updated rooms. Still an older hotel but nicely updated. Hotel staff was great ! Pool area was nice. Room that are off pool should have chairs and table to sit on the patio , they were missing. Overall good stay ! Thanks

Was disappointed with this hotel after asking chatgpt what the nicest hotel in Brandon, MB was and paying the highest rate in the city. It is an old building and had sketchy people walking around outside as you pull up. There was also a bunch of people in a pick up truck drinking and smoking that I’m not confident were staying at the hotel. The air conditioning unit was dripping water right outside door B and the a/c unit in my room was ancient and super loud all night so I didn’t sleep well. When I went to check out and let staff know, nobody was around so I left my room card on the counter and vowed to never stay in Brandon again.

A great hotel of good value on the west side of Brandon. Easy to get to off the highway and the restaurant inside was convenient so we didn’t have to go far after a full day of driving. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and enjoyed a dip in the hot tub.

Have stayed many times and have enjoyed it overall....this time however, we noticed an upswing in homeless people hanging around....and although I don't have any damning evidence, our vehicle was broken into and items stolen from it.....the perpetrator's we professionals....leaving only a muddy footprint inside the vehicle....not everything was stolen....basically some new clothing that we had purchased....and a brush out of the glove compartment......

No elevator to second story which can be a real issue with seniors and others with mobility issues. Building is old but has lots of space to put one in. Nice room on the second floor overlooking the pool area.
