"This cabin was perfect for our leaf peeping trip in October. The river was a great setting with the colorful leaves reflecting in the water. It was in a great location for the places we wanted to see including a trip to NH, Portland, an apple orchard, Freeport, and coastal areas. We enjoyed the large deck and the fire pit. We appreciated the prompt and clear communication from the host. A tip for a close and free scenic view - look up Hacker’s Hill Preserve. "

"This was a wonderful property. The lake view was awesome. Amenities at the property were well though out. It was a very pleasant experience. The waterfront and dock access was perfect with a little beach for sun bathing. Everthing you needed was close by and within walking distance, e.g. restaurant, grocery, pharmacy, walking paths along Long lake. The Owner was so accommodating, easy to get a hold of, responded quickly, and just a super nice person. It was an amazing retreat. Thanks Tim"

"Great spot on the river. The canoe was easy to put in even though the river was super low during our stay. Fast internet, we could stream movies with no problem. The bed we stayed in was comfortable and the shower has plenty of hot water. The cabin is so dark at night, you can’t see your hand in front of your own face so you will sleep like a champion! "

A short walk down a footpath leads you to a quaint little beach on Long Lake. Communication with owner was easy and responses were timely. Would recommend this property! "

"Classic campy lake house. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean. There were some cobwebs, but we loved the big screened in porch. Lake itself was busy on the weekends but nice and quiet during the week. Sad that we couldn't use the fireplace or wood stove since the end of the summer in Maine can have chilly mornings. We would have booked again for next year, but the price has gone up significantly."
