Great Family Vacation

Location was ideal! Close to get to attractions and restaurants but far enough to not be in congestion. House is 4 doors down from outdoor pool/playground and a short drive around to the very nice indoor pool. Kids aged 2-11 could touch and so much fun. We had 6 adults and 6 kids. The house was perfect. If you have younger kids you should bring a baby monitor. Adult rooms are on the main floor & downstairs, kids rooms are upstairs. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed plus kids plates and cups. A lot of games and activities for kids. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Family Vacation

This property was perfect for our family vacation with my 3 children and their families. There were 14 of us and lots of room for everyone. The amenities were great. The location was perfect for site seeing and activities. The 2 pools were wonderful! The owner was quick to respond to our questions and very helpful! Definitely a great choice!

Incredible stay!

My family and I had a fantastic time at this beautiful home on the lake! We loved the lake views, the decor, the fire pit, and all the little touches that made us feel at home (games, suggested things to do)! There were ten of us and we had plenty of room and could have easily fit more. Thanks to the owners for a fantastic experience! Five stars!

Family vacation

The Hawthorne house is a lovely place. My family, which included me as the host and three of my adult kids with five grandchildren had a great time. Five bedrooms worked out great and loved it that we all had our own bathroom. Nevertheless, there were some practical issues that keep me from giving it five stars. Light bulbs were out in multiple locations. At least three of the bathrooms had loose toilet seats. The stoppers in most bathrooms did not rise enough so that water drained easily in the sinks and the stopper was totally disconnected in the master bedroom on the first floor. One of the rocking chairs on the porch was broken and also one of the kids chairs at the little table. We did appreciate that they had some books and toys for children. Several doors were very squeaky which one notices with little ones taking naps. Also, there was no Kleenex in the whole house. Still our family had a great time and it is a lovely house. I'm sure they can take care of these issues.

Great Family Stay

Property gave us plenty of space for our entire family. After arriving on the first day, the upstairs water heater went out. The owner Andrew was extremely responsive and helpful to correct the issue. After initially contacting him, a crew was there within 30 minutes and fixed the issue quickly. The rest of the week went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend staying here.

WOW!!

We can't say enough positive things about this house. We have stayed in nice VRBO locations, but this was the nicest. The place is new and was designed perfectly for large families. First the amenities. My kids were in love with the large projection TV downstairs. It was easy to use and to hook up an Xbox. The indoor/outdoor fireplace was a favorite spot for the adults. The house has a nice large deck which has a great view of the lake. They have games, reading material, and a music system downstairs and outside. The bed rooms were great and they had them on all 3 floors. Bathrooms and environmental for each floor. Our family really enjoyed the place and we will be back.

Was expecting more..

After looking endlessly for rental properties for my family, we chose this one based on the reviews and pictures. While the location was great, and the house met our needs, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the house as well as the communication with the host. We checked in around 4:30 and the house had styrofoam and fake pine needles everywhere. There was dog hair on the coffee table, the dining table hadn’t been wiped off, and the baseboards were covered in dust. There was also a large amount of dust under every bed in every room. I also found hairs on two bath towels that were hanging up in the bathrooms. I reached out to the host to let them know, and they stated that it was supposed to be cleaned after they took Christmas decor down and it wasn’t. They offered to bring a cleaning crew out the next day, but since we were there with our small children, we declined. Other than that, I did not hear from the host throughout the week we were staying there. The only contact I received was when I reached out the day we checked in, and when I told them we checked out. We were there for 7 nights. Our family had fun, but I would most likely not stay at this house again.

Amazing house in a great location! Great for families!

We had an awesome vacation at Hawthorne House! This beautiful house was perfect for our group of 16 (4 families - 8 adults, 8 children). We had plenty of space and enjoyed relaxing on the deck, playing games on the lower patio, and watching movies in the theater room downstairs. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook all our meals, and it was great having an extra fridge and microwave in the basement for drinks and snacks. We cooked a few meals on the grill, too. With 5 bedrooms and a pull-out couch, we had plenty of space for everyone. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. It was really nice that every bedroom had its own bathroom, too. The kids enjoyed the bunk room, and the bigger kids liked hanging out in the downstairs theater room. We spent a lot of time at the community pool – it has a walk-in entry, waterfall, and water features that the kids enjoyed playing with. There was also plenty of lounge chairs, and a play structure for the kids. The house has a beautiful view of Table Rock Lake and sunsets. There is a fireplace that opens to the living room and the deck, we used it once or twice to take off the chill as we were talking late into the night. The location of Hawthorne house is great – close to Branson and all it has to offer, and close to Table Rock Lake, too. We took the Spirit of America catamaran cruise from the State Park Marina, highly recommend it! The owner was great with communication, answering our questions, and offering suggestions of things to do in the area. We truly had a wonderful trip – our kids say it was the best vacation ever... and they want to know when we can come back!!

Stayed here for daughter’s dance competition nearby in Branson. Great location, great amenities, great property. Our family had a fantastic time with plenty of room to stretch out and have privacy, but also come together for activities. Would stay here again.

Great stay at Hawthorn House!

This house was perfect for our family's spring break. We had 6 adults and 5 kids; the bedrooms gave us great space - we all appreciated that each had an en suite bath. The living spaces were perfect for us and we loved having the hot tub and fire pit for private use. Getting to activities was a quick ride away. We used the indoor pool some - it was a bit loud for some of us - only a couple screaming kids is all it takes in that space. But it was good sized and the kids had fun there!

Amazing!

My family and I absolutely loved this house! We stayed in Branson over the long weekend and it was spectacular. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax and the common areas were amazing when everyone wanted to come together. They even had toys and things to do for the kids. We loved every minute of it!

Perfect way to start the holiday season.

Everything about this property was absolutely wonderful! We were able to check in a little early because storms were expected in the area. We arrived to find a perfectly furnished, clean and cozy home. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with utensils, pans, cups, and plenty of plates. In short time, the kids started referring to the rental as “our Branson house.” I highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Great get away

My family stayed here and absolutely loved it. Close to everything, house has everything we needed. Great for multiple families. We celebrated my parents 50th Anniversary with kids, spouses, grandkids- it was the perfect spot. Nice areas for everyone to sit and visit but also room to stretch out and have some quite time. Loved it, will definitely stay again!

Branson Adventure

Family get together made this the perfect place to stay. Owner thought about just about everything a family would need on vacation. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, beautiful view of Table Rock Lake. Convenient location close to everything. Tri-level home with bedrooms and bathrooms on each including two kitchens. Very close to pool and playground. Also good for the mobility challenges since main floor has a king bedroom and ramp to enter home. Host was most grateful and easy to work with. We had 10 adults and 2 children and all slept comfortably.

Multi Family Vacation

We enjoyed our family vacation to Branson and our stay at this house was just what we needed for our multiple families. Our boys loved the games in the house and easy access to the pool. The bunk room was perfect for them! We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings and evenings. Once we got our groceries we had everything we needed to cook our meals. The house was in close proximity to all the activities we enjoyed while in Branson. Definitely recommended for family vacations with multiple families.
