"It's an amazing place. My wife and I were there with our three children, ages 5, 3, and 1. It can easily fit another family of that size. Nicola is very responsive and accommodating. The property manager, Parker, met us on-site in the morning to check in, make sure everything was okay, and take care of a few things around the property, but not in an annoying way!The towns surrounding the house are about 20-30 minutes away and have a unique Spanish charm. Girona, which is a little farther away, is beautiful. The drive from Barcelona airport is easily manageable with a car rental. Thanks for having us. GM"

Ullastret itself is a gem of a place to walk around in, but it is also a very short and easy drive to excellent excursions including Greek and Roman ruins, beautiful beaches, and fun restaurants.Mark and Outi are fantastic hosts. Very welcoming, justifiably proud of their property and invested in ensuring that their guests have a most wonderful time.We were ten people for a week and I thoroughly recommend Mascaros for a great vacation."

"Characterful villa with tower room bedroom with balcony, which we loved, All bedrooms were on the small side, but, as we spent the majority of the time outside on the dining balcony, overlooking the pool and with stunning views, it really didn’t matter! Kitchen is a bit dated but has everything you need to cater for 6 adults. Our property host, Karen, went above and beyond with supermarket provisions as well as tourist info and flexible leaving times. All in all a most enjoyable stay in a very attractive neighbourhood!"

"If you're looking for comfort and location with heaps of charm this is your place!Kristen and Jacint made our stay wonderful. The small Medeival hamlet that the casita is located in, is sublime. I would come back again and again. What's more, the grand tower house just behind the casita may also be hired, and it is gorgeous!Location is ideal, with every convenience necessary less than a 5 minute drive or 15 minute bike ride away in La Bisbal. Culture abounds everywhere in Baix Emporda with beautiful coves and beaches only 30-40 minutes away by car.Do not hesitate!"

"We very much enjoyed our stay here. It’s the perfect location for exploring the Cosa Brava. The pool is what absolutely made this say amazing (and the air conditioning)! We were there in very hot weather and spent the majority of our time floating in this luxurious pool! Everything was wonderful. One thing to note is that the master bedroom bed was slightly uncomfortable. It’s really two beds pushed together to make one and it was easy to fall into the crevice…just something to be aware of. Other than that we had a wonderful stay!"

"We had a fantastic time from start till end. Before we left we already had a very nice contact with the host so we could plan our vacation upfront spiced with advice from locals. And great it was. Arriving after a long drive and a could of days in France we met the very friendly local host who showed us the house. We felt at home immediately. A very practical, cozy, clean and big house with a very nice pool and apero area. The kids took the ground floor and the parents the upper floor. Amazing. The house was always a very nice homecoming after our trips. We felt great. It was a fantastic and total experience."

"This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Every single detail has been well thought out. You are in the middle of a magical place with magical people and the thoughtfulness they have put into every single detail is unmatched. The food is excellent. The service is 10 out of 10. They are so kind and thoughtful. I could not recommend this place more. We stayed for a couple of nights before heading to Barcelona, and it was the perfect way to start a trip and get into a vacation mindset. We are so grateful for everything."
