Best room we've had in a long time.

It's so nice to have a table and chairs for eating, drinking, using the laptop, etc. Nice breakfast right on time at 6am. Air conditioning worked very well. There was more light in this room than most places. Can't say anything negative about the place, even had real coffee mugs to use. The towels didn't have a rack, but they were efficiently stored by the sink in plain sight.

Pretty decent cost effective spot. Breakfast was a bit spartan but the room was clean, towels were soft and the staff was friendly.

The beds are soft and so comfy and pillows and blankets are wonderful, sheets are scratchy. Bathroom was dirty. Area looked run down but we never felt unsafe.

Good clean room with excellent bed and bedding. Staff were excellent. This area is unfortunately suffering from the stench of the nearby Salton Sea which is an ecological disaster of monumental proportions. If the wind is blowing in the wrong direction the smell is terrible. California should be ashamed.For a state that claims to be so concerned about the environment, this area is a toxic wasteland.

The water was barely luke warm which I can’t tolerate so I didn’t shower. I would not stay there again based on that. Lots of people out in the parking lot and on phones every time I went outside. I would not have felt comfortable if I stayed there alone. The rooms were very nice and clean so served the purpose. No complaints with the rooms at all!

If you need a room…

I stayed at this motel over 30 years ago, it has not aged well. Owners are trying hard, bed above average with good pillows. It is an old motel. Room was a bit noisy, but so is the area. Room needed paint and caulking in bathroom was a bit much. A few freeloading roaches but they were friendly. Staff was also very friendly! Hotels in area were mostly sold out with some over $200. This was a value motel. This is a small broke town with only a few options. Plan accordingly.

I was traveling on business, it was cheap and that was my main decision factor. The room was clean, the bed was fresh and I liked the hard-surface floors better than carpet. The place is a bit run down & just seems kind of "tired." The shower did not work well but the towels were better than expected for the price. Biggest complaint? The coffee was really not good! Overall, I'd stay there again for myself but not if my wife was traveling with me.
