"The Bluesun Hotel Berulia has a lot going for it. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained, the location is lovely, and having a nice beach directly in front of the hotel is a huge plus. Breakfast was included in our stay and we enjoyed it—the selection and quality were good. Unfortunately, the room experience didn’t live up to the same standard. We stayed in a Superior Room, which we found uncomfortable. Housekeeping was also disappointing, and the toiletries provided felt quite low quality for a hotel at this price point. Another small but telling detail was the coffee in the room. Only packets of instant coffee were provided. At this level and price, I would expect something more elevated, such as a Nespresso or similar coffee machine. Overall, the setting, grounds, beach, and breakfast are the highlights, but the rooms, housekeeping, amenities, and attention to detail need improvement to match the price and the impression the hotel creates from the outside."

"Very close to the beach and restaurants. The area where the hotel is located was very crowded but I guess it is expected during the summer. The hotel was excellent. They even made our 25th anniversary memorable by send us a heart shaped fruit plate."

"Het is een fijn ruim huis op een mooie locatie in het rustige gedeelte van Brela. Voorzien van alle gemakken waarbij de airconditioning echt niet mocht missen en waar we dus vaak gebruik van hebben gemaakt, gezien de hoge temperaturen. Enige pittige was de wandeling naar het strand beneden. Heen was ongeveer 10 minuten, best te doen dus, maar omhoog duurde makkelijk 20 minuten en was een pittige klim. En dat met hoge temperaturen van gemiddeld 35 graden... Wij hebben tieners van 13 en 16 jaar dus die vonden het niet zo erg maar je liep niet een paar keer heen en weer op een dag. Eenmaal boven of beneden bleef je daar. Verder was er niet veel te doen in de omgeving van het huis, lopen naar het centrum van Brela was wederom een pittige wandeling, gezien de temperaturen en hoogtes. En de auto pakte je ook niet makkelijk vanwege het gebrek aan parkeerplaats in de omgeving. Voor een rustige gezinsvakantie (met tieners), met geen reuring om je heen, elke dag naar het strand is dit een prima locatie en woning."
