"We were met on arrival at reception which was quick, easy and very friendly and were shown and told everything we needed to know. As mentioned in other reviews, the decor of the rooms is slightly older style but the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower and bathroom were fine. There was a pool and free buffet breakfast which added to the comfort and enjoyment. The hotel is also a short distance to the waterfront, bars, restaurants and ferries and a nice walk around to the beach."

Cons: it is about15-20 min drive to Split, but in the morning it took us over an hour to reach Split. This is due to only 1 road that crosses the river and its lights flash amber (no traffic control). This was consistent over the 3 days we passed by the area. Also, turning into the property is difficult depending on which way you arrive, but...

"We read the reviews of this being a tired hotel and needing attention before booking and decided to take a gamble. We were very pleasantly surprised! It is not the Ritz, but it extremely adequate for a one night stay. The room was spacious and clean, reception inviting and staff friendly. "Located one street from the sea, it is a great location that close enough to all the main streets / attractions. Having the roof terrace is wonderful to have breakfast outdoors or a drink in the evening. The rooms were large and very clean. Would recommend."
