Escape to this charming house managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC, located on nine acres, just 3 miles from the picturesque town of Brevard, NC. Nestled on a property teeming with various bird species, this 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home offers a serene retreat for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

Inside, you'll find a spacious 2226 square foot layout with cozy amenities such as a king bed, queen bed, XL twin beds, and even a futon for additional sleeping space. Stay comfortable year-round with oil heat and partial AC. Each bedroom is equipped with new mini-split A/C units, and the living room features a portable A/C unit to ensure your comfort. Other rooms are outfitted with fans, and the natural rock walls help keep the interior cool.

The fully equipped kitchen features modern appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker, making meal preparation a breeze. Step outside to enjoy the fresh mountain air on the deck, complete with a gas grill for cookouts. Take in the beautiful surroundings while grilling or simply relaxing with your furry friend, as this property is dog-friendly. Additionally, there are also 4 cats and a two friendly dogs: a lab and a Great Pyrenees that live on the property. Our neighbors keep the dogs away when guests are there, but you may see them. They both are sweet.

After a day of exploring the area, catch your favorite show on the smart TV or gather around the large table in the living room, perfect for playing board games, cards, or working on puzzles. The home boasts a diverse selection of options including checkers, chess, Clue, playing cards, poker chips, multiple puzzles, and other engaging games.

For outdoor fun, play a game of Molkky, a popular Finnish throwing game that everyone can enjoy. Garage parking is available for one vehicle, complete with a bike rack and a standard outlet for charging electric bikes or cars. The driveway offers space for another 3 vehicles.

Conveniently located, this home offers easy access to the charming town of Brevard and its array of shops, restaurants, art galleries, and lively music scene. While you are in Brevard, keep a lookout for a white squirrel, the town's mascot! For outdoor enthusiasts, Dupont Recreational Forest, a popular mountain biking and hiking spot, complete with spectacular waterfalls is just a 20 minute drive. Pisgah National Forest is just 25 minutes away and features a multitude of hike and bike trails for all levels, Looking Glass Falls and Sliding Rock (bring your bathing suit!). From the Pisgah Forest entrance, drive another 25 minutes to access the famous Blue Ridge Parkway and visit the Cradle of Forestry on your way. Abundant opportunities exist in the Brevard area to tube or kayak the local rivers, show off your fishing skills, golf, go horseback riding and more. After a fun filled day outside, visit one of local breweries for a pint!

Things to Know
Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC. All Vacasa properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Loved this place

The house was beautiful. Very clean. Its an old home and really offered the comfortablè, family feel I was looking for. The mountain views along the main highway are amazing. I will say this; if you're into haunted houses this place definitely offers the spooky. We experienced several things that gave us the creeps, that to us, was very cool. Overall, the stay was 100%. Everything we needed was supplied. Specifics were labled. Plenty of room. Friendly animals. Will definitely try to book this house again for our next visit.
