This is the 5th time we have stayed at this cottage and we always enjoy our stay. The nearest amenities are in Bridport which is 2 miles away, but we are happy with that. We love the peace and quiet there and the views are fantastic.

Spent a week in mid August, just me and my new 6 month old Collie and was very impressed.
Lovely little cottage part of a small complex of converted farm buildings, compact but everything that I required including small secure garden for the pup.
Likes, include secluded location, well appointed kitchen, comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with a walk-in shower with plenty of hot water and heated towel rail.
Cons, just a few minor gripes, small TV with no programme recording facility (luckily I took my own PVR and DAB radio) and hopeless lighting in the kitchen, desperately needs a couple of small ceiling spot lights to illuminate the cooking and work surfaces.
Nice welcoming touches including milk and scones, Bridport less than 10 minute drive away to stock up on provisions.
Oh, and take slippers as the floor tiles can be cold on the feet !
Would definitely stay again, but next time out of season when it is a tad quieter on the roads and in tourist hot spots.

We rang the owner before arrival and were delighted to hear we could arrive before 3pm which was great. The Cottage was set in a quiet courtyard and was comfortable and clean and we were greeted with scones, jam and cream :-) The Cottage was nicely equipped and fitted out with everything you could need plus many simple necessities like washing up liquid, towels etc which are not always provided. The cottage was very quiet and peaceful and we hardly saw the other occupants. Being situated close to Bridport was ideal in that we could go out daily in all directions, which we did (despite the awful weather we had... nothing the owners could do about that!).
The week sped by and we managed some nice activities and dining experiences. In conclusion an excellent cottage for us and our dog. We would heartily recommend Wren Cottage and may well return again. Our sincere thanks to the owners :-))
