Place was clean in both the bedroom and bathroom. Mattress was not so good.
Would not suit a stay for anyone looking for a quiet night.
Wonderful for a good price, great location stop over in Brighton.
Room was clean. But no mirrors, only one pillow each. Windows didnt fully shut, floors creaked and was uneven. Shower was broken and took a very long time to heat up. Recpetion area looked liked it has been tidied in years. It really needs a lick of paint and new carpet as first impression count for alot.
The location is great but its near all the night clubs and bars so is noisy at night. If you can look beyond all that its cheap place to stay and is very central.
A kettle.but no cups, no plug to be anle to have a bath and generally quite dirty. Having said that- i would go again but take a plug and a cupnas the location was perfect
room was clean and tidy although it did have a wierd smell to it, but it done the job what i needed it for the shared bathroom wasnt very good either very small .
The reception has no one there full of junk in the lobby, old dirty and smelly reminds me of bates motel (horror) i could not believe how bad it was just wanted to get up and go home, they provide a kettle but no cups/cutlery they have a shower but no hot water windows are so bad toilet seat dont fit so i paid for a bed basically i can definitely say i would never return, they need to knock the place down and re do it in my opionion, cant be charging these prices for a place like this i stayed at a different hotel night before much cheaper place and staff was so lovely clean tidy rooms and everything provided ,overall not happy

Late booking
We booked with Seaside Hotel last minute as our other choice had double booked. I had to phone the owner for access code, he came to meet us 10 minutes later with a key to room and code for front door.
Really friendly staff,
Decor very dated.
Bed comfy. We did have a basic double, very well priced, great location. Shower over bath was cold. Steep steps up to bathroom, sloping ceiling which husband cut his head on.
Filthy run down and disgusting. The bed smelled like it had been slept in a few times.
Didn't stay.
Left hotel at 4am and waited at the train station for the first train.
I want a refund. We had a rude member of staff check us in and there's no staff thereafter 5pm?!? The room is nothing like the photos,I've had student bedrooms in better condition. We left after 5 minutes, we had multiple night stay booked. Can someone contact me about a refund please.
This place is classic rustic bare basics hotel you would get in a third world country. Just the bare necessities. No fluff. I loved it!!!

The room was a disgrace, bed bugs, holes in the wall, blinds didn’t work, the communal shower/toilet was dirty with faeces on the toilet seat and the shower door, didn’t feel safe at all, for the amount of money I paid I would have expected a higher standard than that! I ended up having to spend even more money to stay somewhere else! I had my daughter with me, she was scared and felt unsafe! DO NOT EVER STAY HERE, waste of money and doubt they will even refund the money I spent on that hovel!
Very poor, just a bed in a room, kettle stank and no cups or anything to make a coffee. Dirty carpet, very old and musky smell. Bathroom poor and stained. I would not recommend and definitely not worth £77. Personally this hotel should not be open.
