The property is equipped with ducted air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout. The huge kitchen, designed for a chef, includes an ice-maker fridge, ample bench space, cupboards, and kitchenware. The kitchen seamlessly flows into the living room, dining room, and outdoor entertainment area, making it perfect for socializing. Ducted AC was broken. Pool was dirty. BBQ dirty. Garage remote key didn’t work. Otherwise nice view and nice location. Still enjoyed my time there.

Nice place to stay

Nice place to stay on the island. Generally had everything that we needed, and a nice and quiet neighbourhood to stay in. Just a few comments. The house only came with a very small amount (about 2 days worth) of dishwash powder and clothes washing powder, requiring us to buy more for our stay. The house was generally well cleaned, but there were a few things that could have been better cleaned, such as the kitchen cabinets’ door handles (greasy) and the dining table chairs (fabric was a bit dirty). Previous people staying there have commented about the Wi-Fi being problematic. We found that the speed was OK but the signal was not that great over the house. For example it was almost impossible to get a signal at the dining table. I think that the router is just not very powerful. The kitchen extractor light bulb needs to be replaced.

Wonderful stay!

The pictures do not do this place justice. It was a wonderful vacation spot. Very clean! Very comfortable beds. The main bedroom and one other bedroom has a nice large balcony where you can watch the sunset over the water. The pool was nice but cold in August. My kids didn’t mind and still enjoyed the pool. The only downsides to this property was the lack of Wi-Fi and supplies. Luckily cell service was excellent so wi-fi wasn’t an issue. Also expect to only have minimal supplies. We had to buy more toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent and dish detergent. This is the longest I have ever stayed at a rental property and the least supplies I’ve ever received. Luckily a trip to the store rectifies this issue. Just know that you’ll have to buy more supplies once you are here. If I ever return to Banksia Beach I will be looking to rent this property again!

beautiful villa

enjoyed our stay at banksia beach, beautiful location and views from balcony on to canal. The owners next door were really helpful and chatty/welcoming. Would definitely return and use vrbo again excellent service. One down fall there was no WiFi even though im 100% it stated WiFi available when I booked, this is a big selling point and needs looking Into however we managed. We all had a fun holiday in the sun xx

Not for young families or entertaining

Beautifully clean and very impressive on arrival. Cookware provided not adequate to cater for the 8 guests the house can accommodate. Furniture in TILED living area included 3 tables with unsecured glass tops. Downlights not working in all 3 bathrooms. Fan only working on low speed in one of the bedrooms. Owner entered backyard unannounced to clean the pool, no knock on the front door or notification from the agent. Listing says the property is great for entertaining but prominent signs advise there is to be no noise after 10pm for the neighbours. This wasn’t a concern for us personally as we were travelling with our children 4yo-15yo but with such a beautiful entertaining area I could imagine wanting to be outside chatting with friends if we’d travelled in an adult group and would have appreciated being notified of such rules earlier.

Comfortable Clean and relaxing

This property was very well maintained. Beds comfortable and heating perfect (was cold at night inJuly). Pool too cold to use but was nice to look out on. Ice maker fridge was pretty cool. Only complaint is the lack of ‘staples’ which have been included in previous properties we have stayed in. We had to purchase salt/pepper, baking paper, glad wrap, dishwashing liquid, and bin liners as there was no where near enough for a 9 night stay. Coffee machine would have also been good.

Amazing Property

We had a great wkd away at this property. It was modern, lovely and clean. The pool area and view was beautiful. Kitchen was well equipped and we loved that linen was supplied. The pool table was a great hit with everyone and the kids spent hours in the pool. We were able to leave our boat tied up to the Jetty and there were plenty of shops nearby. Would highly recommend this property and we would love to stay again!

Long weekend in paradise !

With my daughter’s wedding on Bribie Island I wanted to find accomodation for me ( mother of the bride) plus some family and friends . I chose this for the location and the size. We loved everything about this house. The outlook was so relaxing, loved the expanse of the kitchen, plenty of room for 4 couples. The neighbourhood was quiet and the pool and the pool table proved to provide great entertainment . Certainly would recommend and hopefully will make it back .

Great pool and lovely home

Lovely home with 4 good sized bedrooms. Great kitchen with everything you need. No coffee machine which was a bit disappointing. Lovely pool and a pontoon for your use. We had a boat and used it daily although it takes a good 25 minutes to get out to the passage. Nothing really within walking distance. Short drive to the beach and parks for children. We should have taken our bikes great cycling over the island. We would rent this property again

The house is beautiful and in such an amazing location. Rooms were comfortable and big. Perfect for a family holiday away. The communication with property manager was super easy and fast!

Magical location, beautiful home.

Absolutely beautiful location. Everything we could wish for and more. Felt spoilt arriving to a home with beds made up and towels on our beds. Loved morning coffees on the balcony overlooking the pool and pontoon. Magical by night seeing the fairy lights on the ramps and pontoons. Awesome pontoon to fish off (our son caught trevally every afternoon) and great to be able to walk out the back door, jump in the boat and go fishing whenever we pleased. Every night we would come together to play pool. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family.

Total relaxation in luxury

The property was absolutely beautiful. Our kids were in luxury having such a spacious home with their own bedrooms, pool table to keep them entertained, & even a dip in the outdoor pool in July!! Just disappointed we could'nt enjoy our 2 week holiday due to being cut short due to a sudden death in the family.
