Villa 31 in Tangalooma Moreton Isl

Villa 31 beach front holiday accommodation is located at the Tangalooma Resort on Moreton Island . The villa it is central to the best island activities and offers accommodation for large families. It is situated close to the resort facilities and natural wonders of Moreton Island. Snorkeling at the wrecks reef is a short walk away

Villa 31 features a private access & secure large private courtyard, BBQ facilities, 2 fridges, ceiling fans in all rooms and a flat screen TV. Escape to your own secluded holiday home.

Guests are able to access all resort facilities which include restaurants, shops and a bar, Moreton Island 4WD tours, scuba diving & snorkeling, boat, jet ski and canoe hire, quad bike tours, helicopter tours and parasailing. There is also a swimming pool, playground, badminton, basketball , beach cricket and volleyball courts. You can enjoy kookaburra feeding, pelican and seabirds talks.

Something not to be missed is the wild dolphin feeding conducted nightly at Tangalooma Jetty. Please note: Dolphin feeding is not included in the booking and may not be available to guest staying at the villa.

Tangalooma Resort, Moreton Island is Brisbane's best kept secret and is only 1 hour from Brisbane. Access to Moreton Island is either via The Tangalooma flyer (no vehicle required & only 1 hour from Brisbane) or by the Micat car barge (also 1 hour) if you have a 4WD vehicle (parking available at the resort).

Villa 31 is one of only true 3 bedroom villas at Tangalooma. Please note Smoking is not permitted inside the Villa.

Over priced needs make over

Property was dirty in needed of a good clean. Over run with cockroaches. We purchased a can of cockroach killer this stopped them crawling on us while sleeping.Old uncomfortable furniture, TV small, and had lines through picture and a quarter of the screen was just pink. Had to wash all cooking utensils, pots and pans before use as food wasn't washed off, left dirty. Thank goodness resort had 2 brand new BBQ out front on grassed area that we used every day from then on to cook on. Screens missing from windows, fan light hanging out of bathroom roof. Location near all bins getting emptied very early. View not good over looking bins and trees. The bedding and linen had rips in very old and out dated. I could go on and on. Condition was blamed on covid. Owners were relying on staff telling them what property looked like. But we have stayed in other accommodation in the last 2 year and other business were so clean and upkeep was amazing. We have stayed at Moreton Island many times, resort over priced and out of date. Great position but needs entertainment for guests.

Stay review

Very enjoyable stay, plenty of room and very comfortable. Very clean and has everything you need. Back fridge needs replacement as it doesn’t run very well, will definitely look to book this unit again

Fab wknd getaway Tangalooma

I normally forget to leave reviews but doing this before we even get on boat. Great villa for the price. Clean, roomy, brilliant location. BBQ out the back was fantastic. The perfect stay for 2 families with teenagers. Lots of room for everyone to spread out. We'll definitely book again 💯 Thanks Lisa and Keith .

Awesome property

Excellent position, use of resort without feeling like you are in the middle of the resort. The beach in front of the villa is magical. Villa has everything you need for a family holiday. Plenty of room for everyone. Thank you

Tanga.. the best

We had a fantastic time at villa 31. Great views, nice and spacious. Kitchen, private bbq, kayak, 3 bedrooms and room for 10 guests. Would recommend to anyone. Dolphin action on beach and jetty, cocktails at sunset.. precious memories

Very handy location, nice quiet spot, very big apartment we had 2 adults and 3 teenagers stay and had heaps of room. Great view of the ocean from most windows.

Great location disappointing villa

We were disappointed in the condition of the property (villa 31) as the photos provided made it look a lot better than it was. General maintenance was lacking: 3 lights did not work, there was sand on the floor downstairs as we moved in,and over the front verandah, the whole place stank of must,mildew and mould, (so maybe we were first in after the lockdown??), there was mould in the upstairs shower and on its ceiling, cupboards were water damaged and bedroom cupboards were dirty and smelly, too much so to put pur clothes in. Similarly blankets were too dusty and smelly to use. Villa numbers had fallen off and not been replaced, the kitchen at least needs a refit, lots of chips and damage to tiles and cupboards. Contacted owner re lights and electrician came next day, fixed one but the bedroom still did not work, and loung room light he still needs to do. Expected more for my money, and disappointing to take visitors there when we had paid similar amounts for a similar 3 bedroom modern clean unit at Stradbroke the week before.

Great Villa with plenty of room.

There was plenty of room for 8 adults. Having the 2 bathrooms was fantastic. Loved that it was a side facing Villa,made it very breezy with the sliding doors and windows open,which we needed as it was very hot. Great court yard out back,with plenty of room. Great location in resort,with magic views of the water. We would definitely book Villa 31 again.

Fantastic but more info sorely needed.

The villa is great, clean and in a beautiful and in a beautiful location within the resort. We were frustrated that we were never told how to access or exit the property and couldn't get hold of the owner.

Our villa was clean and had ample room for our needs- 8 beds! The position was perfect about 1/2way between the pier and the wrecks with luggage bay right outside. Everything you needed was provided including a kayak! Excellent stay- would do it again.

The place was really nice. Almost everything is good. It would be preferred if the main door can be locked for safety when we exit the villa and if the bbq is cleaned. Apart from that, things seems good. Would definitely visit again
