Charming typical Basque house built in 2016. Its ideal situation, between sea and mountain, gives access to many varied activities. The house overlooks the hill of the village of Briscous where tranquility reigns.
 
Capacity: 8 to 10 people.
The house has 3 bedrooms (one with a dependency that can hold up to 3 extra beds), 2 double beds, 2 single beds that can be joined and a sofa bed.

Logement impeccable, très bien équipé ( vaisselle, plancha, parasols, électro-menager…). Très jolie vue sur le massif montagneux. Facilement accessible autoroute. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Notre hôte fut très sympathique, accessible et arrangeante, merci à elle car cela compte dans la qualité du séjour. À bientôt !

Perfektes Ferienhaus mit toller Betreuung – rundum empfehlenswert!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus! Das Haus war makellos sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es war zudem einfach, es während des Aufenthalts sauber und ordentlich zu halten. Die Vermieterin war äußerst hilfsbereit, stets erreichbar und hat schnell auf alle Nachrichten und Fragen reagiert. Schon vor unserer Anreise hat sie sich darum bemüht, dass alles reibungslos läuft und hat uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben. Auch bei der Abreise ist sie auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen!

Séjour très agréable dans cette magnifique maison basque

Hormis le problème des témoins lumineux qui se déclenchent tous seuls la nuit, nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle maison basque spacieuse, moderne et bien équipée. Nous avons tout particulièrement apprécié à l'apéro et au petit déjeuner la terrasse couverte avec vue sur le village. La maison est très bien située, accès rapide à l'autoroute, pour visiter cette belle région qu'est le pays basque. Je recommande cette location.

Spacieuse maison

Nous avons passé un séjour parfait. Cette location est particulièrement adaptée pour une personne handicapée en fauteuil électrique ce qui était le cas pour une personne de notre famille. L'environnement est très calme avec une jolie vue sur le village. Grande terrasse pour profiter des soirées. Merci à Christine pour son accueil et sa gentillesse.

What a great house in a great little town

We came for a long stay of four weeks as we looked for a property to buy in the surrounding area. We weren’t successful in that respect after looking at 18 places, but we sure enjoyed staying in Christine’s three-year old house. In fact, it probably made our expectations too high as we looked at houses that were 10-100 years older and had all kinds of issues. Everything in this house is brand new, with all the latest window hardware and the best fixtures in the kitchen and bathrooms. The underfloor heating is really lovely. Sitting on the deck in the evening with a cocktail looking out over the countryside only made us want to live here more. Briscous, although small, is really close to an autoroute exit, has a terrific bakery two minutes away at the bottom of the hill (they also make pizzas, of which we enjoyed on a few Saturday nights.) AND, right next door to the bakery is the French restaurant Joanto (1 Michelin Bib) that is just fabulous, and reasonably priced. Walking to a great restaurant is always a plus. There’s a little grocery store in town, and a pharmacy, and a tabac – for newspapers, etc. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. This is probably our 10th rental house in France over the last 25-30 years, and it is by far the best ever! Thank you Christine!

une superbe semaine à Briscous...

Cette maison est très bien situé sur les hauteurs de Briscous avec une jolie vu vers le sud et le village. La maison est quasi neuve, et est très bien aménagée avec de beaux espaces pour une famille de 5 personnes. Les enfants ont adoré notamment la douche à l'extérieur ! Mme Gestas nous a très bien accueilli et a pris le temps de nous faire visiter son bien et nous expliquer les petites spécificités de la maison. Briscous permet de rejoindre très facilement plein de jolies villages à seulement 30 minutes de route. Bref la combinaison jolie maison neuve + jolie vue + situation géographique du village est vraiment très intéressante et nous vous recommandons bien entendu cette location. Et pour les plus chanceux (comme nous !) une biche et ses petits passeront peut être à quelques mètres de la maison !

Merveilleuse vue sur les montagnes et calme assuré

Location typique basque, la maison est superbe et très bien meublée avec des matériaux derniers cris. La propriétaire est fort sympathique. Nous recommandons fortement cette location pour le dépaysement et le confort s'y trouvant. Grand nid douillet et vacances réussies assurées.

Grandes vacaciones gracias a Christine y su excelente casa

Nuestras vacaciones en esta casa han superado todas nuestras expectativas. Empezando por Christine, una anfitriona muy calida, amable y flexible, que nos permitio llegar el primer día a las 10 de la mañana sin problemas y nos recibio con 2 regalos y una gran explicación de la casa y los alrededores. Durante toda la estancia ha estado muy accesible para resolver todas nuestras dudas y por último agradecer que nos haya enviado un objeto de valor que dejamos olvidado y no nos dejará ni pagar los gastos de envío. Christine gracias por todo y un 10 para ti y tu amabilidad. La casa construida en 2016 es excelente (mejor que en las fotos). Construida con materiales de gran calidad, tiene todos los detalles cuidados al máximo, cocina totalmente equipada con todo nuevo, inducción, gran frigórifico, etc. Todas las estancias tienen lo necesario para hacer muy agradable el estar en la casa y que no eches en falta nada. Las vistas desde la cocina o el salón son muy buenas (recomiendo desayunar o cenar en el exterior) al pueblo de Briscous, bonito pueblo de arquitectura Vasca que tiene todo lo necesario, farmacia, supermercado, tienda de prensa y una panadería/pastelería que tienen distintos tipos de panes y pasteles recien hechos, con los que desayunabamos todos los días. El jardin de la casa es muy amplio y ha hecho las delicias de mis hijos, donde han podido jugar todos los días con total seguridad. Mención especial al baño "gigante" donde todo está nuevo y con un gran toallero secador muy necesario. Además existe una ducha exterior con agua caliente muy útil cuando se llega de la playa. En cuanto a la zona, está a unos 10 minuntos de Bayona, pueblo que merece una visita. Las playas están a unos 20 o 25 minutos, a nosotros nos han gustado especialmente las de Anglet, Tarnos y Labenne. Estas últimas están comunicadas por una vía verde que se puede hacer alquilando bicicletas tanto en Tarnos, como Ondres o Labenne. Otras cosas nos han gustado han sido: Biarritz, de visita obligada, con su Acuario y museo Oceanográfico; San Juan de Luz tiene un centro muy bonito y una playa recomendable para niños; ruta por los pueblos vascos como Espelette, Ainhoa y Sare y por último la zona hacia Pau con pueblos muy bonitos como Orthez y Salies-de-Béarn. Gracias a Christine por hacer que nuestra extancia en tu casa fuera perfecta y la recomiendo totalmente a cualquier familia que quiera tener unas vacaciones en una casa muy cómoda en un pueblo muy tranquilo y cerca de todo

Excelente casa de vacaciones , muy limpia y con todas las comodidades.

Increíbles vistas y mucha tranquilidad, ideal para vacaciones en familia. Christine Gestas nos ha facilitado todo, muy amable y servicial. Hemos pasado unas vacaciones increíbles , muchas rutas para bicicletas, y cerca de ciudades alucinantes como Biarritz . Muchas gracias por todo Christine , TOTALMENTE recomendable , sin duda , repetiremos en esta magnífica casa.
