For example, we noticed some cobwebs, the lighting could be better, and there was a bit of clutter around the back. None of this took away from our experience, and it felt in line with the price point and what you’d expect from a genuine cottage stay. If you’re looking for an authentic getaway in a beautiful spot and aren’t expecting everything to be magazine-perfect, this is a wonderful choice."

"Our stay at John and Sue’s property was wonderful. We hiked and explored the peninsula most days and ended our days with a swim in the bay and just relaxing at the cottage. The cottage was clean and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. The updated kitchen was stocked with pretty much everything needed. If you are expecting warm nights bring a fan but otherwise we had a great stay."
