When I checked into the room there was no heat it was -7 Celsius. I asked the front desk for help hey handed me a portable heater and came up to look at the heat. They said it will warm up. Ty portable heater was the heat supply for the room. The hotel was not anything i expected and would not stay again there were no other options it was Saturday and Sunday after Christmas and the city was packed with no options. Be aware to review is. On point.! Never again

My original room was not clean on check in. I asked for a different room, but was told no, to wait. I was finally able to get in my room 3 hours after check in to find the television did not work and there was no light fixture in the bathroom so there was a giant floor lamp instead. After asking about the television, I was told to move rooms, which could have happened 3 hours before. I feel like Expedia is given the crappiest room in the place. Not clean, no tv and a floor lamp for bathroom lighting

Booked twin room couple of months in advance. When arrived the room was a double so they moved us to front of hotel. Room very basic. Bathroom no light, only big floor lamp. One socket which lamp was plugged into. Dried hair in the dark. Shower powerful but would not stay in place. Smell of sewage in bathroom. In corridor outside room very dark because of flickering light that was not fixed.

Hotellet ligger bra till väldigt nära Grand Place. Men den frukost som det står att skulle finnas fanns inte. Och då frågade vi 2 ggr och fick bara svaret No Breakfast.... Baren samma sak. Rummen OK (men ser inte ut som på bilden). Sängen OK. Man fick vänta otroligt länge på att vattnet skulle bli varmt i duschen. Hyllan under handfatet var lagat med Silvertejp.

A mixed review. Lovely hotel, fantastic location, friendly staff, excellent bed, good room. 4.5 stars for that. However, the toilet would not flush properly, instead just swirling around its contents. Not pretty. The shower was nearly impossible to get to a useable temperature, either scalding hot or freezing cold. It literally took ten minutes to get to a bearable temperature.

Location is great and that's it. The toilet leaked constantly and it was very loud. The bathroom also smelled terrible. We thought it was due to the cleaning agent used, but the smell came back after we left the windows open all day. The only reason to stay here is the location.

Room was spacious and beautiful. Looked even better than in the pictures. Staff and owners were friendly. Gave lots of towels. We were steps away from chocolate stores and other great shops snd restaurants, and very close walk to Brussels town hall. Room had a very small fridge (could hold a few water bottles) and no microwave. Would stay here again.

This hotel is hard to get too, due to more tragic and congestion. The room was fine. Not fancy, but had all we needed. In Belgium it seems they don’t supply bath clothes or bar soap. Different then want we were used to. Very close to the Grand Place and lots of restaurants and shopping. Lots of tourist things to see nearby. The staff was incredibly polite and helpful!

Basic hotel, good location, improvements needed

The location is really good and in general good basic level small hotel with friendly service. In my room there were unpleasant smell in the bathroom and it was very difficult to get proper temperature shower due to the old mixer - the temperature was either cold or burning hot. Stayed just one night, so survived...
