"We stayed 2 nights at Amara Cay, the resort is very welcoming and has an intimate feel. Check in was a breeze and the lemon lavender cocktail offered at check in was delicious and refreshing! The employees were all very accommodating. The pool area is large and not crowded. The pool itself was a lagoon type and heated! Our room was just right, had everything we would need and more. We took the free shuttle to their sister resort, 3 Waters, spent a relaxing afternoon there by the pool, with a great wait staff. Had dinner and breakfast and both were very good! The watermelon salad was especially delicious! We would definitely return and recommend to friends and family!!"

"100% will go again!!! The houseboat was even more than expected!! Perfect location, beautiful inside and out and the most beautiful and perfect sunrise and sunset you could imagine!! Everything was amazing but the hosts, Manuel and Daniel, MADE OUR TRIP!!! They helped us unload our car and put everything on/off the transportation boat and the explaining of the boat was top notch!! We had talked about how we wanted to go to Alligator Reef and the Sandbar one day but didn't want a boat with alot of people on it. They offered to to take us and we freaking loved it!!! They both brought thier girlfriends, cooked some lobster for us and we even got to pet nurse sharks after snorkeling!!! The "fee" for them taking us was nothing compared to the memories just from that day!!! We had a great time with some awsome people in some of the most beautiful water we have ever seen!!! Best VRBO host we have ever had and we will definitely be back!!!"

"Our family of 10 recently stayed at this wonderful home for one week. The property was large enough to easily accommodate our group. The views are stunning, the pool and grounds are very nicely done. The screened lanai was great for extended evenings outside without worrying about bugs. Well maintained and feels fresh and not like many rentals. The location was perfect for us. We love Islamorada and were within easy walking distance to three great restaurants. Papa Joes (try the smash burger it’s legit) Square Grouper, and Midway Cafe for breakfast! We boated to the lighthouse and sandbar one day…..road trip to Key West in another day! Fishing on the pier and a lot of time around the pool. We are trying to find a time to go back….hopefully soon!"
